Thank you, found you about 15 years ago, and so glad that you are back. Helped me through a tough time in my life. A friend had passed and left me all of her yarn. Being that friend, she was teaching me how to crochet. She had many projects started which totally threw me. With your help, I was able to finish them and family and friends have been able to enjoy them! Thank you again!

With the sugar and cream cotton yarn I’ve made pot holders and wash cloths 😊. I have used Bernat Blanket yarn and I’m about to use the Bernat softee chunky for elf hats for my fam. I love Mikey and was excited to see you met up with him. You and Mikey taught me to crochet and my favorite UA-camrs ❤

I love those yarns & the colors...all beautiful!! That was sooo sweet of Mikey to gift!! ❤ I would use the purple & Aqua (or darker) of the Sugar & Cream to make a fanny pack or bum bag. With the Bernat I would make a pretty striped top to wear next spring 🤗🌻🌞
Mikey was on such a tight schedule that we only had a short time together. 😔 would be awesome if one day I can go to Canada to see him again!

I've used the Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn. It has been available in the USA for a long time. I've used it to make dishwashing cloths, coasters, cup cozies, and the like.

Hi Clare. How wonderful that you and Mikey got to meet up! Lovely yarn. I’ve used a lot of Bernat yarn but not the Softee Cotton. I’ll have to try it. I have used Lily’s Sugar and Cream for years and have a big stash of it. I make dishcloths, potholders, face scrubbies, soap sacks, and coasters with it. It’s very sturdy. To the best of my knowledge it is pronounced Bernat, not Bernay. One of their original woolen mills was located about 1/2 hour away from me and we used to go there a lot when we were kids. Sadly, that location burned down. I think it eventually went to Canada. Love their yarns. Thanks for sharing with us!❤❤

The Bernat softee makes nice tanks or tees. The Lily Sugar n' Cream makes tough kitchen stuff or bags. Both great for their own thing. 😊

Yay Mickey, fellow Canadian. Glad you guys finally got to meet up. Cotton yarns great for wash clothes. I used them to make Lucy's Rainbow Bag. Bernat is great as well.

The Lilly’s sugar and cream is great for kitchen items,market bags and such. It’s a strong cotton and very durable. The Bernat cotton is great for wearables or blankets

Totally nothing wrong with selfish knits/crochet/crafts. Plus for you, as a youtuber, you shouldn't feel pressure to turn everything you do into a tutorial or something. Its just lovely to see what you're enjoying, what you're up to, how you are. You're awesome :D

@@CrochetwithClare we 1 hour from Gatlinburg. One of the best places ever! We get so many tourists it’s crazy, but who can resist the Smoky Mountains. Look up Gatlinburg, Tn one day.
Have used the Lily sugar and cream. I use them to make soap sacks for the homeless with a soap bar in it. Also to wash the baby with.
