Cow tales are my favorite. They sale them everywhere around here. 😃 Tootsie rolls come in small ones too. And kisses come in different flavors. The peppermint ones are amazing.
Girl, I live in the USA and I have never had a cow tail or that licorice stuff. I love Reese cups, Kit Kats, Nerds, Payday candy bars, and those sweet and sour gummy worms. Hate Dr Pepper but I like the diet Dr Pepper’s. I just can’t have caffeine anymore. Love you!
How funny. I guess it all comes down to what one is used to! I love Dr. Pepper, but don't drink pop very often either. And it makes me burp - a lot! lol! I would like to try Australian candy and any other country's, for that matter. The peanut butter cups are so wonderful but I'm like you - one more than does it! They have a new one with a layer of caramel in it, too. OH, boy!! 💜💜
Great video. Dr pepper is enjoyed cold. It's my favorite soda pop. My husband says it tastes like prune juice. Haha, I'm not a big fan of most of the candies you tried. I do like a tootsie roll. Yes they come bigger. Hersheys kisses do come in other flavors. Most candy you find in the United States have artificial flavoring added. This was a fun video. I'm currently following your white shrug tutorial. You do very good tutorials. Thank you again Clare
Hi Clare. Fun video! As someone born and raised in the USA, I have never heard of those first 2 candies that you tried, the cow ones and the sour ones. Tootsie Rolls, Hersheys Kisses, and Reese’s peanut butter cups are American staples to me. Big sellers and I love them all. I agree about too sweet with the Reese’s. I only like a small bite of anything that is so sweet. As far as Dr. Pepper goes, I’m not a fan. That being said, as someone else pointed out, you cannot get the true taste after eating chocolate. I was a big Diet Coke fan, then switched to caffeine free Diet Coke and then gave that up too. I drink a soda called Zevia because it’s made with stevia and has much healthier ingredients. It does take some getting used to but I did. I like the Creamy Root beer and the Cream soda. Put a little heavy cream in and it’s delicious. I try and drink more water but that can be a struggle, lol. Thanks for this fun video!❤
Never drink a soda after eating a Reese's Cup or anything sweet, It's like drinking OJ after brushing your teeth....the true flavor is totally masked. American here🇺🇸😀Love your channel Clare 🤗🩷
You asked about Tootsie Rolls. Yes, they come in other sizes, but that was the largest size I’ve seen. The others are smaller. As far as I know, they only come in two other sizes. The smallest is between 1-2 inches long. (Those are often the size given at Halloween.) Then there’s a size that is a few inches long, but thin like a pencil. They also come in fruit flavors and vanilla, but only in the smallest size, to my knowledge. Edit: Dr. Pepper tastes like childhood cough medicine to me. Not good.
Awesome vid. I like dr pepper but i think diet dr pepper has a better flavor. Tootsie Rolls are my absolute fave along with Twizzlers. My hubby loves the Reese's.
I'm American ,and my Australian friend and I have been sending sweets back and forth for years. She loves Zero bars and Little Debbie Nutty Buddy the most. She doesn't care for any Cinnamon candy or salt water taffy. My favorite she has sent over the years are Cherry Ripe chocolate bars. (Which unfortunately, I don't eat hardly any sugar anymore.) Cherry Ripe is soooo good. My least favorite thing was Musk Sticks. Very gross. Sadly we have a lot of high fructose corn syrup in so many things. That stuff is VERY bad for you. P.S. She like the original and chocolate cowtails.
I love mush sticks, they have to be my fav haha That is so good that you have been having candy exchanges. Yes Aussies dont get the cinnamon or slat water taffy, its not something we like LOL Thank you for watching my video.
American here. I don't like cow tails. I don't recognize the second one. Love Tootsie Roll. They come snaller. Love kissesI usually let them melt in My mouth, normal size. Reeses cups are awesome. They have larger size and different ones. Love Dr. Pepper
Kisses, Hershey kisses, for Valentine's Day they have big giant Hershey kisses that go with a valentine card that you can make or buy., Try Tootsie Caramel apple pops CS
Interesting! I haven't tasted any of those! I have a ton of food intolerances. So the only chocolate bars I can have a bit of is Violet Crumble.... too sweet to have more than a bite at a time. Mostly I just have Lindt 85% as I love dark chocolate. I'm sure lots of your subbies from OS would love to see you trying a few of our Aussie lollies etc. A good excuse to buy your faves! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
If I am going to drink soda, it is almost always Dr. Pepper. Dr. Pepper is very popular in Oklahoma, where I live. It is the best ice cold. Sadly, I am not supposed to have caffine, so I rarely drink it anymore. I do not like Coke or Pepsi at all. I have never heard of cow tails, but they may just not be popular here in the Midwest.
I remember a colleague brought back hersheys kisses to Scotland. The bag sat in the staff room for a long time - eating them was a dare because they were so horrible 🤢 When I first visited the US I bought bar of chocolate (a well known one, but I can’t remember which brand) and couldn’t eat more than a couple of squares - it literally tasted of vomit. Ick…
I can’t believe you’ve never had a tootsie roll. That come in a small size called a midgie. I’d say that’s the size most eat. Try cream soda Dr. pepper. Must be ice cold.
Cadburys is not what chocolate is meant to taste like??? Aren’t they one of (if not the) original chocolate bars? I wonder if Aus chocolate is more similar to US or UK chocolate?
@FionaC1 I would say similar to UK chocolate. Cadbury is a huge company, so maybe. It's in UK, Australia and NZ, the NZ is the best because the dairy is better and creamier
I think your rating system is hilarious, '3 out of 10 but I wouldn't eat that' shouldn't it rate lower then 🤣 what would you rate as a 1? Great little video 😄
I'm an American and have never seen a cow tail anywhere. Hershey's is ok but there are definitely better quality chocolates like Ghiradelli or Lindt. I like tootsie rolls and the peanut butter cups. I can't stand Dr Pepper, it has a very nasty taste to me.
Lots of people seem to say they haven't seen cow tails before. I wonder if it is a local thing? Glad I am not the only one that didn't like the Dr Pepper.
I think Dr Pepper tastes like medicine. I have a friend who hides tootsie roll midges in the freezer and microwaves them 10 seconds to defrost...her family sees the wrappers but can't find her stash 😂
