  • There's a pretty awful clunk on my land cruiser when I change gear, and there's play in the diff mounts due to their age. Here's how I changed them all, and what I discovered.
The side mounts are Febest part number TAB-331, rear is TAB-332 and TAB-335, and front is TAB-334 and TAB-333.
Toyota side mount is 52380-60040 to replace the whole arm, and 52380-60030 for the rear arm. It might be possible to get a front cushion from Toyota now with 41651-60010.

Brilliant as always - thank you. We need to compare 100s someday - I'm the other side of the M8!

Oh great - I was wondering who the other Scottish 100 driver was. Seems like there's only 2 of us left :D I'll make sure you get your invite if I ever organise a coffee morning.

Im just in the middle of changing my driveshafts and outer hub flanges for my annoying clunk when changing gear...do you have play in yours?

Yes I do. If it's my driveshafts I'm going to live with the clunk for now. Don't want to spend that money yet. However I think my prop needs more grease to assist
