Charles Cord designed the towers. Taken from his car design(grill) which was not a success as a car. Site of USC and UCLA basketball and also the LA Monarchs semi pro hockey team. Only multi purpose facility in LA outside of the Shrine auditorium. Ice skating on Friday nites was a treat when I was in high school.

thank you, and thanks for the suggestion, I really appreciate it. I was a little unsure if I should really have music over that scene. But I don't think that the video of the fire was silent.
Nicely done!
Thank you!
What a great building it was

Thank you!
So sad that it burned down - it was so iconic
I know it really was iconic. There are so many other buildings across the US that borrowed this type of style.

Where's the history????? BOO!
