WAH 101: PART 1 - PLACEMENT (SOUND COMPARISON)

Sharing tips on the Wah pedal's sound difference when placed before and after the effects unit.
The difference is HUGE!
One thing I like abt the Hellbabe is it does NOT add color to my existing signal unlike other pedals where it either suck the bass or clip the high and even distort the signal, The Hellbabe doesn't add crunch, unless you use the boost. At 456 range It even bump up your bass from your heel down position so it gives off that BBB'Waaah sound and not the usual SSS'Weeeh which I absolutely hate.
SETTINGS:
Maxed Q and Fine - no boost used
Range knob is on LOW 5, clockwise (Slow wah, which is my Favorite amongst the 6 Ranges.)

So that probably explains the tone-sucking issue of these wah - it is placed in the butt-end of the chain sounding as if it's acting like a volume pedal sounding so choked, rather than after the guitar so it hears the full range of the pickups - amazing. Thanks for the insight.

Yep! My guess is Folks thought that it's sucking the tone off the guitar, in reality, it is probably set so far in the chain it ain't seeing the pickups quickly at all haha!
