Just when you thought it could not get any better, they go build this car. ttally insane and I love it. Great video as usual.
3.5l V8 race engine initialy used by General Motors in the „Indy Racing League (IRL)”.
Basic information:
• 3.5l V8, max. speed: 11.500 RPM, 570 HP at 11.300 RPM
• Total weight excl exhaust manifold: 125kg
• Fully electronic ignition and fuel injection system including traction control, drive-by-wire, etc.

@LaamaX :P I know what kind of car it is. I just happen to own an E30. I bought it 23 years ago and its still running at 1.2 mill miles. I dont go easy either LOL. What I'm trying to say is I love the E30. Its part of me. I have driven many other cars and none feel as connected with me on the road. Very light, agile, balanced. Add a great engine, suspension, tires etc....and you have a lil dream...I don't want to do the curcuit. Just drive it everywhere..

@Hillclimbfans : that depends on what type of dragster you are talking about, I would not be so quick to judge. Good road racers have come from drag racing by the way.

Who actually built the car? Do they do cars for street? My Dream car would be that same car with a V8 M3 and a custom back similar to a Ferrari F430 and of course a little more comfy. And done in black on black. And I would drop the tail fin. Not needed for street :) Pure awesomeness.

Great video. You do the best. Beautiful RACE car. I think Plaza's last Bimmer-Judd was a notch better but that's not to dump on this one. The sparks are quite a show. I guess the slight drag when he bottoms is muchly offset by the incredible downforce car must generate to make it so fast on the road.
+Thomas Nixon This car is extremely satisfying to watch, no doubt. Very powerful, very refined. I can't help but to think of Georg Plasa though, and his BMW Judd. Such a musical sounding machine. Just perfection.

What kind of material is the diffuser made of to let those sparks of when rubbing the tarmac at 1:20?
The diffuser is made of carbon, but the sparks came from a metal piece under the car which is made for contact with the track
What engine is in that beast?
