I'm watching this on my mobile in a car park with my wife sat next to me. Her first comment on hearing "hey, what's up guys" was, " is he always that enthusiastic?!
She has a lot to learn.
Lovely guitar and thanks for the history in to it.

I live in kalamazoo and a friend of mine actually works there, if anyone's interested in buying one, do it! Everything is hand made. The wood is hand sanded, even tge inlays are hand measured and made, they still even use the original tools from the 50s, every piece of your guitar is hand crafted to perfection, really great guitars, really great company!

absolutely the best "GIBSON" guitars. i demo'd a H-150 for an hour and the resonance was off the charts. you could literally hear the vibration of the wood and it almost overpowered the pickups at low volume. I picked up a 2019 H-150 today in mint condition for $1669 :)

Hey, i just wanted to say thank you.
You are the only way that works for me , for learning to play guitar.
I cant learn in a school, becouse i live very far away from anything, so i had to think of a an alternative.
But i found that you are the only one that teaches songs perfectly, and your personality is also amazing.
Thank you so much for giving the opportunity to learn to play guitar.
Youre a lifesaver. Keep up the good work.

My friend has that same model of Heritage guitar. It’s heading toward 20 years old and it looks brand spanking new… and he wants to sell it for $2,300.00 plus shipping. He only played it a few times. It literally looks new and is in great condition.

FWIW, I bought a 2000 H-535 used for $1200 a few years back. Flame maple antique natural. It has Schaller bridge and pick-ups instead of what they use now.

I watched this video a few weeks ago, and decided I had to have one. Although I couldn't find one with that beautiful finish in my price range, I did manage to find a nice cherry red with Lollar imperials. I can't wait 'til it arrives. Keep up the great work Marty!! You're channel rocks, and your playing is spectacular!! Now to find a divided by 13 🤗

Hasn't been true in awhile. They were better than Gibson under their old management(the original Gibson crew), but have since sold to a new management crew who've since retired the Gibson tools they purchased back in the 80's. When the old tools were retired to Heritages 'museum', so did the master luthiers. From what I've read, the company parted ways with the original master luthiers in favor of their new CNC machines. So now Heritage is employing Gibson tactics to make a buck.

Pickups are HRW's. Heritage Ren Wall pickups. Marv Lamb helped build those old 50's Gibsons. The company recently sold to private investors while still producing some awesome guitars. They are not as cheap as they once were, but still well below Gibsons. Custom order a guitar and it will be half the price, if not more, then Gibson Custom Shop. They also offer tours with cool demo room you can try out their stuff. Check 'em out!

I was able to pick up three of these that a collector had brought in. They were bought in the 90s I had to replace a few parts from corrosion and polish the frets, but they had never been played tags were still on them. One even had a mark from the sun beating on the tag, where it had been in a shop window somewhere pretty amazing I thought, but all three of them for less than six gees Put pick ups from tone specific lust for tone and whiz and now I have the most beautiful, jazz blues and I put P 92 pick ups in the other one and honestly they were Fralin each size P 90s and it gives me a better jazz tone than my 530 model and truly, I think these are better than the Gibson guitars Certainly their custom shop models are fantastic. Maybe Tom Murphy didn’t touch them, but they all stay in tune a hell of a lot better, and the tuners are in alignment. I just think it’s a better guitar. I sold all of my Gibson stuff and switch to Heritage after watching Doug and Pat And him demoing an H150 there’s just no doubt in my mind they are carrying on a more true to tradition. Gibson did not have tunings stability issues until the factory moved. If you look historically back at them, the older Gibsons have less tuning to stability issues than the newer there had to be a change there. This is not a standard heritage. Change from what they tell me there that’s originally the way it was supposed to be drilled. Not sure why Gibson just can’t make the correction lol thanks for all the great demos Man. 3:44

Hi Marty, slightly off topic but I was checking into how to earn money via youtube and I read that when we click the "skip ad" option at the beginning of each video. You or the video personality do not get credit (paid) for that ad showing in front of your video. I just wanted to check with you, to see if that is indeed the case.

@@KraigWhiting Thank you! I have 9's on mine but have been dealing with tuning issues. I was wondering if I should upgrade to 10's. Maybe it will fix the problem?

I rate the quality of sound as the same as my Epiphone 335 dot guitar, made in the Samick factory, Indonesia.

I don't mind the head stock so much... but you should see the fret work on my 2022 ! It's pretty remarkable.
