What a refreshing video by all of you! Not one swear word or filthy language! It's nice that there are some individuals who can converse without the swearing!
All of those concrete slabs that came out of the pig barn could be installed in front of the shop where it's currently gravel. They get put to use and you get a hard surface that has the ability to drain some water. A win-win in my book. The support beams can be used in areas like parking lot curbs. They're free.
I had a neighbor that offered all the slats from a 2400 finishing barn this spring. I just didnt have enough time to haul them. I was going to use them as a driveway to our hog barn where employees parked
They will crack if you wanted to drive upon them. They are great though, we have them around our water tanks on are farm where the ground often gets wet when filling water trucks.
I am from Louisiana enjoy watching y’all. You have my deepest condolences on Nicole’s passing. Amazing God has plans for all. She is with y’all. In Jesus name amen. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
We like to grab those metal crates off local farmers. We use them for fire wood. Fill them up and store them. Grab one and put it in the basement for the stove. Works great.
We plan on doing the same with our old gestation barn next month. We have to wait until the sweet corn gets off. Our pit still has water and poo in it so have to pump it out before we can get started. Great video!

I found this channel by accident, and now its my favorite. I love the back and forth between these guys. They are hilarious. They are also very hard workers, which i like because i know hard work. I pour concrete foundations and flatwork. We also try to have as much fun as these guys do, and also try to make light of crappy situations.
Good to see Chet and Eric working with Chets cousin, I’m sure he’s used to working but from my own experience it’s easier to lean skills from guys closer to your own age. Way to go guys , mentor him and keep it fun
@@victorcross5949 my point was that if you are young and work with your father everyday it can be anything but fun to go to work everyday. Dads may be super intelligent and have the best intentions but teens and dads don’t always mix well. They need space and a few years sometimes before they can work together well. It’s just nature.
@@TheEggeee2 I agree my family found it stressful to work together, I am much closer to my son now he is 40 years old. I think some family's have a stronger desire to be independent, other work well together.
Working hard I liked the pink shirts it puts some light in the browinish Hog plant. That manure is pure gold in my book anything and everything will thrive in that wealth of nutriments. I found a name Douggo Gold. You are so lucky to still have a great Pa like yours!
It was 90 today in MN. Humid as hell too. We were combining wheat & I was hauling to the elevator & when you stopped the truck or got out of the breeze it was instant sweat. More of the same tomorrow.
Thanks for another great video Chet. Was interesting for sure. The remodel on the old hog house is coming along real good and looks pretty darn good if you ask me. I must admit the different parts of the hog house came out fairly easy. Getting the slats out went really good. You are going to have a lot of room in that building for storage as you want. Amazing how this is coming together. Well planned you guys. Getting the finer points of the project done should go good. Doing well and looks good already. See you have a younger helper, how does he fit into the family???? Thanks for the video and looking forward to the next one on the remodel project. Appreciate your time to do the video. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy from years ago. Love the Larson channel. You all are the best!!!!!
I see an indoor pool!! Hey Chet thanks for keeping up with the clips for us. I'm sure you have plenty other things to do and on your mind. I for one appreciate it.
I was thinking, those old slabs could make a pretty good gravel bin.... stood on edge, and afixed to each other with rebar or something. You have enough, to stack them flat, and you'd still have a pretty good gravel bin.
I love watching you 3 guys. Y'all are so funny. Thank you for showing us the almost clean pig barn. It really looks nice. Y'all be careful with all of the heat. Thank you guys
Building coming along nice! GREAT VIDEO!! 👍👍 thanks Chet for sharing the farm and thanks to your family and that includes the big swede it shows he is part of your family. 👍👍🙏
Great video. I remember cleaning out my Uncle's old farrowing house. All of the poop, and hair were incredible. I like your repurposing of the old sow house.
😂 I love it Eric, complaining that his boss isn’t helping enough. Since when do bosses help you? He’s the one that comes to work every day, he doesn’t have to.
Good progress on the new chemical storage building, great way to make use of a perfectly good insulated building. Hope it rains and gets a little cooler soon.
Very interesting and awesome to watch you guys making things happen and carrying it to the end.........excited to see how you get that all pressure washed. That is some work and in that heat.......yikes! God bless and hang in there.........the reward will be great! :-)

Chet glad you guys are saving that building , I built pole barns in the 80's and it kills me to drive by and see them not being cared for ! Any building for that matter .
Get a few of the yellow water filled road barriers that they use at construction sites. When you want to move them, use your loader, or drain them and use your muscles.
I really feel for you guys having to work so hard out in the old stinky hog barn.lol. Hey it is looking so much better though. Take care and have a good one. 👍👍👍❤️
I really like seeing you guys getting use out of the old shed. As a contractor I would worry if you have frost protection at the new door? There is some simple fixes for that though. Good luck.
Building did turn out nice. I thought it would. Other one would too. They nice buildings. Combine heads, planters. Poke them in with forks Seed storage maybe. Enjoyed
Good job guys nobody got hurt and saved yourself about 10 grand watching the weather this morning and see you're finally getting some rain
Caught a pink Nikki BS strong shirt down in Packwood Iowa this weekend... Didnt get to talk to the feller, but I know he is of good taste.
Use some of the concrete slats for a boat ramp, at the lake house.
I like the way you think my guy!
They work perfect for ditch crossings in the side and bottom of creek or ditch where grain cart crosses etc
Use slats to make a gravel bin??????
That’s a dam good idea

@Nikka Fish You sounds like you have thought that one out Good luck finding a use. Maybe for a lower fill area and the pour concrete on top

That’s a dang good storage building now! Smart to repurpose building for sure!!
@Hello Richard how are you doing
Lay those slats on the ground and put your cement barriers at the end and put your gravel on slats. Would make easy clean up

You could fit that feed bin on to seed trailer for filling the seed drill. 👋👋🏴🏴

Just an idea for those slats, use them on edge to make your gravel box. Possibly even use the beam as post to anchor them.
See you guys occasionally working make me feel: it’s still good working people in USA hello from California

looks way better
It's getting closer
1st time for everything. I've never moved a grain bin with concrete attached :)
If access is good enough you could use it as a chemical pump house. Run plumbing out and premix into a tanker to bring to fields for sprayer.
That's a good way to use that hog barn. Love your videos.
Everything came out of there pretty nice
I need that American larson farm hat!! Please get it back in stock soon!
