@8:15, 7-mode is absolutely supported on the FAS8000 platform, not just on the FAS2500. There are a very few reasons to use 7-mode versus Clustered, but still, it's absolutely supported.
Few Info are good but majority are not well explained. It may confuse the the admin who are just starting to learn NetApp and for the record do not go to any interview with these answer.
Meeting to talk about Netapp without any knowledge.. The information should be bit more detailed and well constructed. This is more casual and this much of information in a meeting will easily give-up on first question.. Do you have some other videos that talks about the technologies in detail and not just scratch the surface?
Hi Dutchman! Sorry to hear that you weren't pleased with the information given in the video. If you're interested, here's a link to the updated 9 NetApp Terms infographic www.reliant-technology.com/media/productattachments/files/9/_/9_netapp_terms_you_need_to_know_infographic.pdf Hope this helps!

You forgot SolidFire :)
Yeah I'm sure we could do a 2.0 version of this one ;)
We couldn't agree more! There's been a few changes in your neck of the woods since this video was released ;)
I am surprised the SyncMirror is missing from the list.
+William P cDOT supports SyncMirror starting with the 8.3 release (roughly since 2014 November).
William P No, MetroCluster is not required. You can use SyncMirror with standard cDOT system (not sync SnapMirror)

Totally agree! A NetApp Storage Architect who doesn't know if you can have different filers/models within a CDOT cluster? Jeeez!!
this guy was too technical and did not know how to simplify the answers in plain English. .techies suffers from this shortcoming.
Sorry to say it that way, but some of Brad's explanations are simply BS...
