I wondered (and worried) when there didn't seem to be a new Operation Mallard, and I'm very happy to see this! Your Dad remains an absolute Rock Star, and so are his neighbors for alerting him to Mrs. Mallard's new nesting spot. Thanks so much!
I love the Operation Mallard videos so much. It's a timeline cleanse that lifts my mood for ages. This video certainly (re)demonstrated that the adage - taking to it like a duck to water - is a trusim. I've said it before, but your dad is a treasure. Thankyou for sharing Emma.
This is a comment on your video about being diagnosed with autism. I don't know whether people ever go back to read comments on their older videos, but I want to thank you. ] Thank you so much! This video spoke to me more than any of the others I have watched. I'm 75 years old. I had a "successful" career in education -- but I never achieved my own dreams, because I have a big limitation in my social skills. Job interviews, in particular, were hell. In public I smile and seem happy, but I have very few close friends and right now, no one outside my family that I'm close to. I'm scheduling my diagnostic process.
Thank you for saving me. One thing I'm curious about is if there's a gentle road connected to the ground or a water plant where you put it? I'm worried because I can't see such a place on the screen. This is because ducklings cannot climb tall concrete structures.
They were guided to the edge of a canal basin, and that water turns into a normal river upstream which has banks that they nest in and they can climb in and out of the water there.
I was so pleased to receive notification today of this year's OM! I was becoming concerned and had intended to check your channel but had not gotten a chance to. Relief! My cats became very anxious during the transport, by the way.😂
Mrs Mallard decided that you needed an extra challenge this year. 😂
Thank you for keeping us updated. These videos always put a smile on my face. ❤

Thank goodness for Dad! ❤
Lovely!
So glad to see your dad and his Operation Mallard 6. Hugs dad. You are a rock star

Hooray for another successful Operation Mallard! These videos bring me so much joy 🥰
I was at the Lowry on the 15th so they must all have been around then.
As always a brilliant rescue x well done Steve
Well done, everyone 😊
