So many nuggets…I’m walking away full of wisdom. Noteworthy is listening to how you aligned your current “work” with your priorities and ultimate desires in life through “research and planning” when making any life adjusting decision. Hearing your different perspectives is soooo helpful, and I appreciate your candor. Because you both bring your unique personalities to the conversation, it helps those of us relate with authenticity! It is truly remarkable how you appreciate and empower your nuances during the conversation. Mona, the fact that you stated that you need to work on connecting with yourself more deeply to be able to identify with what and how you feel (taking notes from Jeanette)…💪🏽! Meanwhile, as you shared your perspective on how you see yourself through any opportunity with which you’re presented…you can do anything with intention and hard work, and especially if you see someone else has done it, why not you…then, Jeanette spoke about strengthening her outlook, without pause (around the time when speaking about anxiety💪🏽, I could relate in so many ways. This may have been around the time when responding to Mona’s sharing that she’s not President because she chooses not to pursue it (and is not yet 36)😅😂. Ladies, this is like “vulnerable empowerment” (is that even a phrase 😂)! Thank you for answering the call!!!

Looking forward to future episodes. I’m retired now, but find your content very relatable as I was making my decision to retire early. I only told very few people and I am glad that I did it my way. Jeanette, I remember you from your days in Philadelphia. You worked for my favorite station. Mona, I would see you covering various stories on ABC. You ladies are food together and I wish you much success in your new endeavors.

Gosh, I’m old enough to be mom to either of you, and you have helped me with a major decision I have been pondering. I see I didn’t research ENOUGH, so that is where I’m headed back to, doing more research before my final decision. Thank you so much, and I really enjoy your vids. 🥰

Great episode! You are the first podcast to highlight the possible issues of having a side hustle with your corporate job. A promotion can prevent you from creating a financial life raft and a more fulfilling lifestyle. Other podcasts focusing on “hustle” culture don't even touch corporate non-compete contracts.

Love this podcast! Not usually a fan of podcasts but I can’t wait for new episodes each week. TBH, I prefer the episodes with just you two talking and wish you could bring some of your friends along, so we can really feel like we are part of the group chat. Loved this episode and the very first one. Also, prefer this kind of studio setup. Please keep this going with these kinds of episodes! Looking forward to next week!!!
