WINTER STORM | Turku, Finland | 12.12.2022

This winters first snow storm in Turku, Finland. There was some gusty winds and a decent amount of snowfall. The streets were nice and quiet as it was monday night.

That vibe , when everything is dark , when the fog comes down to the empty streets and you are the only one running, or you are the only car in a car. It's so calming, you can think clearly. I really love Finland for this vibe . Don't get me wrong maybe it will be hard or annoying for a winter storm to some people and hate it. But I love it

I agree with you 100%. I love storms, especially winter storms. It's so peaceful when the snow dampens down all the noises of the city and softens all the harsh lights. No masses of people, no lines of cars. Just a peaceful city. All my senses get a break from the modern busy world and relieve my anxiety. Love it.

My grandmother came from Turko in the late 1800s. The moved to Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Houghton County). Grandparents worked in the mines.
