    Let's start a car company which makes vehicles similar to K5 blazers. OH, we can't, as they wouldn't pass DOT, EPA, Efficiency standards edc. Sooo, we canny make our own cars, we will have to retrofit new ones with old school filuel injection or carburetors. Until they decide Echeck will be mandatory at the federal level...

    But wait. There's more. Your CBDC communicates with your vehicle and doesn't let you drive if you bought alcohol at the restaurant. Added bonus your weight BMI will be calculated from your medical record in your social credit score so you can't drive until that alcohol has been metabolized. Problem solved comrade.

      Bitcoin is a Hawala network, created by ONI, for the purposes of tracking all the world's money laundering. Quantum computers make prime numbers trivial. Since Bitcoin and all modern cryptography rely on the difficulty of factoring-out primes to operate, they're obsolete. Build a facility big enough and with a fiber connection to the backbone, perhaps in the Dry Valley outside McMurdo, and it's "game over" for everyone who thinks they can move money or messages anonymously.
      You've read "Attention is all you need," right?

    Well, not surprisingly, I agree with virtually everything you said. I don't know about advising people to get a motorcycle. For younger folks under the age of 40 maybe that's a long-term viable option, but probably 50%+ of your audience is likely somewhere between 35 to 65. Motorcycles might not be a long-term option or viable for some other reason for many of them. Most women over a certain age aren't going to be comfortable on a motorcycle anyway, but I get your general point. Yeah, I'm going to be maintaining some kind of vehicle(s) built, preferably before 2020, for the rest of my life it seems. I'm 9 years away from being able to retire, though I'm speaking entirely in "ideal terms". That would be an early retirement at 55, which I'm not sure will be anything like adequate into the future. My suspicion is that sometime between now and say the next 10 or 15 years, things will break, the dollar will atomize in some way, and the period of crisis upon crisis will come to us on steroids. At that point, it will be what you have, what you own, or what you have built to last yourself. I'm already looking to buy a new home in a somewhat more rural location. I'm already disconnecting myself from all of the gizmos and gadgets that are so popular today. Having your own home completely hooked up and under surveillance that can be accessed by others with the perceived need and know-how just isn't a good idea. So everyone that has cameras looking at the inside and outside of their homes that can be accessed remotely probably isn't the smartest plan. You're probably going to be helped more by a more analogue setup that includes noise making devices, closed circuit recording devices, a dog, and reinforced or protected entry points. We have no streaming services in our home any longer. The only internet we have comes from a mobile hot spot that we pay $30 a month for and free wi-fi that we literally check out under 2 separate names (husband's & wife's) from the local county public library. So we're virtually never without internet access. My wife still has a smart phone to facilitate things related to our sons education, but I have an old 4G flip phone. There's no ring door bells, no Alexa, no Google, no Siri, no smart watches, a single smart phone that we take "some" precautions with, and nothing else. Both of our cars are paid off 2018s, and we likely will try not to venture too far into the 2020s, if I can help it. I save in physical cash, but I also save in Gold & Silver so that, if necessary, I might even be able to buy a car that way. We'll have to see. Hopefully, I'll have the financial ability in the next few years to buy replacement vehicles and keep our current vehicles running, or just go out and buy some good used vehicles that I can keep maintained in some way. We'll just have to see. Like you, I don't think that most of this is truly conspiracy driven, at least not at the human level. At our level, I think it's driven more by worldview, common assumptions, and a common human nature which is given to the lust for and abuse of power. We've done all this to ourselves, and it was actually pretty predictable, especially in hindsight. All of it, absolutely all of it linked to a failure to take human nature seriously. We've seen enough evil and studied its ways enough to know that human beings cannot be trusted. Children need to be trained in appropriate behavior and things like values need to be seriously inculcated over long periods by people who are acting, as best they can, consistently with what they claim to believe and are intent upon teaching. The fallenness or depravity of mankind is the oldest story in the world. Just think of Cain & Abel. That's the other side to this. If people aren't already given to this idea because of commitments they've already made, the religious implications of what will happen down the road are becoming more and more clear. The vast majority of people will continue to gainsay, deny, or otherwise delude themselves by dismissing this reality, but at some point it will become clear. They'll be like, "Wait! What? Are you saying that was true? ... Oh my God!!!" And then it'll likely be too late. Who knows precisely when that will happen? Could be decades off, but I suspect it's sooner rather than further away. People have said that in every age of course, but I think today is genuinely different because the things spoken of have never been able to occur at the scale and specificity of today....not even close. We'll see how it all goes, but you're right to tell people that the only threat isn't from something like a CBDC. There are threats on all fronts at this point, and people are going to have be alert to these realities. Not only that, but they are going to have to stop simply moving along with the culture. When the culture decides to lose its mind and jump full blown into absolute delusion, there is no need for us to go with them. We should stand where we are and remain firm. That's the only way any freedom, privacy, or ultimate fulfillment is ever going to happen for the rest of us. Great video! Keep up the good work! Be sure to check your P.O. Box around Christmas.

    • @TheLordHumungus
      @TheLordHumungus  11 місяців тому

      thanks, I will def check my box.
      I mention motorcycles simply because they are much cheaper to buy than a car, take less space to store as a second vehicle, and it usually takes far longer for all the various regulations and restrictions to trickle down to them. But they definitely aren't as useful as a car or truck in most situations.
      I concur on all the tech intrusion into our daily lives, but I haven't cut all of it out yet, but I try to make sure I am set up to be able to if necessary. I really do wish there was some version of a Ring type camera system that wasn't so comprised. They can be super useful for security, but they are just so compromised I just can't bring myself to use them.
