I used to be a major plant lover and then moved to a house with little light and I got super busy and just stopped getting plants. Over the past year I started to cultivate some plants that were gifts and I'm loving having plants again! Thank you for this refresher so I can go get more! :)
Love this video. I grew up in a home where we had so many plants but I never took care of them - this was something that my mom loved to do and she made it look so easy. I was kind of surprised how my own plants looked not as good as hers although I tried my best :). A few years later, I still have heaps to learn on this front :). But home without plants would not be home. Thank you for sharing your tips!
I was a bit over confident with my first few plants that I over or under watered but my dad who is our family's plant guy is teaching me all his tips so I'm making progress! Thank you for sharing about these plants I will definitely keep these in mind!
I really needed this as I love plants and having the greenery in the house, but really don't know how to take care of them and don't really want to spend the time doing it either, so this is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing!
I don't think I have the one you said was your favourite yet... I pretty much want to get all the plants that you shared that I don't already have lol... which is about half of them :)
Great tips! I would love to have a home full of plants because it looks so nice with all the green. But, I have difficulties keeping them alive, so I will definitely try some of these. Thanks for sharing.
Carrie LaShell - Such Savvy Style I’m so glad. If you need help with care, I have several other videos on my channel which walk you through plant care!
I believe my very first was a terrarium from a cereal box! 😂 I remember I grew lettuce & beans as a kid. I know my grandma got my brother and I a cactus & I killed mine. As I grew up I believe I always have had African violets or Orchids.
Food Yourself I wouldn’t worry too much! Maybe a little trimming back to promote growth. If you are headed in to spring and summer, I bet it takes off again.
i have no plants in my house. i need to go buy a few. my mom used to have pothos when i was younger. syngoniums are my fav. going to home depot this weekend! i have dogs. r they ok with dogs?
The Lady Executive I have a dog but she doesn’t bother with my plants. I think syngoniums are toxic so be sure to place them higher than she can reach!
Omg plants are so hard for me! You water them too much they die. I managed to keep a peace Lilly plan alive and well for THREE years but it just died mainly cause I left it at the office but that is the only plant that has lasted me that long! I managed to kill a snake plant though
What was your first plant?? Was it easy?
