- S202 explores how Perrin's wolf connection allows him to 'see' things that have happened, particularly surrounding past violence and death.
Can Perrin get lost in this?
Take a twisting look at this set of scenes, with plenty of diversions and rabbit holes surrounding getting lost and book connections.
Also - that was definitely a FERRY on the other side of the river, not a 'structure' so how did they get across???
And we finish off with a look at the Doorddraal scene in all its glory.

Ooooh! I’ve been waiting for the doordraal episode 😮. I can’t wait to get home from work and watch it!
yay - I realise I could have probably expanded even more on the actual Doorddraal and Padan Fain and stuff - I mean where does one stop?
RE the comment about reality from Elyas, I took that as his warning to Perrin not to lose himself to the wolf senses. At this point he had been travelling with Perrin long enough to realize that Perrin gives his whole heart to what he is doing. He could see that Perrin might have the tendency to go too far and go the route that Noam went.
that's so interesting!
when I was reading the books, I never got the feeling that Perrin was ever in danger of going the way of Noam, so it didn't occur to me that in the show Elyas might think he could.
what are your thoughts on the possibility that book Perrin could really have become a Noam?
@@koalasedai I don't think that book Perrin would have been in any significant danger of losing himself, but show Perrin is still mourning the loss of his wife and his 2 best friends and I can easily see Elyas fearing that Perrin would take Noam's way out. Much later on in the series we see that Noam's decision was, perhaps, a conscious one. Or if not a conscious decision, at least a decision made to escape his unhappy life for one that must have looked like heaven by comparison.
@@fardareismaigrandma6825 I am really going to look for that on my next watch (finally I get back to Cathy next week after 3 months of life interruptions!) thanks for adding a new layer
Mother's milk in a cup, I did not know about the Ferry 😆Good catch! And yes, they took the Ferry 😄
I will die on that hill now! Glad you see the logic of it 😂
Absolutely, fairytales filled my world. And yes I also had a few Disney stories on record and remember well still tinkerbell’s chime to turn the page.
By the way the amazing Kate Forsyth has just brought out a stunning fairy tales book called The Long Lost Fairy Tales
hey you are the first that linked the chime to tinkerbell - well done!
“Blink. Blink. Blink.” 😑
Most Perfect Episode Opener Ever! 😂 Of course, I’m a little biased for Blinks.
And you were totally on my mind as I said those blinks! 💚
Let's hope they'll address this in S3
you have no idea how many places my little brain jumped when I read your comment haha
examples:
in S3 they will address using a ferry or fording a stream without getting wet
in S3 they will address whether Perrin can get lost in visions
in S3 they will address explaining if the visions are the ability to 'see what you smell'
in S3 they will tell us exactly how nailed the myrddraal to the door
in S3 they will use goats as expletives in exactly the same way as in the books
no, no, I must stop now!
thanks for being here and bringing me joy!
Yesssssss
glad you enjoyed!
Ok so maybe you match Lauren for detail. Lmao Tai’shar
OMG that is like the highest compliment anyone can give!
Did you fall into one of u/JaimTorfinn’s data rabbit holes? All the Goatie swears smells very 🤎Brown Ajah. 😂
I honestly had to hold myself back a little as I could have spent so much time following that goat trail! 🤣
@@koalasedai goat trails are easy to follow and get lost in
@@rapunzl347 did you know I kept goats for many years and supplied raw milk? goat trails are really my thing!
@@koalasedai 🤣Did not know that.
