I last saw this episode more than 45 years ago. I love the premise, which I found to be a welcome departure from usual sitcom fare. I’m glad some kind person posted it on UA-cam.
Car 54 was an example of good things happening inside that old silent movie studio in The Bronx in NYC . All those New York trained actors and not a blonde glamour girl or old movie character actor in sight .
I know a lot of these comments are very old but if you folks are still out there, I want you to know how much this show meant to me. It brings back so many memories and it's so nice to see these actors working together before they blew up as individual stars, Thanks pippikins
Me too. This show relieves my depression and anxiety, plus it gets me through the pain and sleepless nights I have because of arthritis and some other problems. "Modern" shows they make today don't do the trick...🥰
FRED GWEN WAS HURMAN MUNSTER AND EVON DE CARLO WAS LILY MUNSTER HURMAN MUNSTERS WIFE AND AL LEWIS WAS GRANPA IN THE MUNSTERS AND FRED GWEN WAS A POLICE MAN IN CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU AND HIS NAME WAS MULDOON IN THOSE TV SHOWS AND SADLY HE DIED AND HE WAS A GREAT ACTOR IN THOSE TV SHOWS 😔
how society has gotten worse ....it slowly starts and people want changes ....but the overall picture is devasting .....these tv shows how we should be treating one another, with kindness .
Every law enforcement team should watch this show and understand that there is no police brutality. We can learn a lot as a society from Car 54 Where are You? Tony
I love this show, I can watch them over and over again. Where did you find this one, it even has the old commercials. That first part with Schnauzer on the phone is always absent in reruns. I hate how they chop up the old reruns. Thanks again.

This is one of the funniest half hours in tv history.
Ralph, the doorman (Edward "Ned" Wertimer), from "The Jeffersons", as the doctor.
*They Love Each Other* comes to mind.. ps: these Episodes are Precious you can learn alot and even have a good deep laugh while doing so..

Joe Ross should've appeared on the Munsters
Grandma and Hermem making confusions.

I think I see why Al Lewis got his role in "The Munsters", Fred Gwynne may have had a say in casting.
Fred Gwynne became Herman Munster after Car 54
Don't ask tightwad toody for a tip Ralph ooh ooh!

19:38 She keeps shouting out the window all the time about her husband being a kook that people must think she is one. 😂
