As a kid in the 90s, my friends all thought I was crazy whenever I tried to get them to watch this show... whenever you actually stumbled onto someone your age who loved the show man oh man... it was like finding your people.

As a middle school speech teacher, I showed the kids a Red Green piece when they were learning how to do a demonstration speech. He created crazy stuff, but he had all the elements - clear instructions, all the parts and tools within reach, eye contact, fun facts to fill "dead air," an intro and concluding statement ("If the women don't find you handsome.."). They loved it! After that, whenever they got their work done early, we'd watch a "Red Green" video as a reward.

Still scratching my head on how they ripped off a cabinet door though... and they were too embarrassed to approach me about the front bumper they hooked on a curb and ripped off... and discovered someone else had used a hurricane strap to reattach it.
