Candice!! First off, Happy Belated!! These are beautiful!!! I want to tell you a little story relating to these gifts. Mainly because I felt the love and appreciation for these books, especially when youre voice broke and cracked.. I teared up with you! Ok here it goes.... I have never met my biological father. I have always been told my father was Puerto Rican. I believed that to be true even when members of my family would tell me different over the years. I had no other reason to believe anything different. My mothers side is Norwegian and Irish. I grew up feeling this intense curiosity and pull towards Norway and Scandinavian culture. I figured it was because of the little bit my mother must have given me. In 2016 i gave birth to my second son and named him Odin Reign. By now my love for Norse Mythology grew much deeper. Now having 2 children and not knowing my father or what genetic abnormalities or conditions could have possibly been passed down to me thus passing them to my children was a sincere concern of mine. I decided to finally take a genetic test to start to figure out who/where my ancestors are/came from. I think subconsciously i knew there was something off... I waited to even send the test off, apprehensive to know the outcome... The test results finally came back and... I was lied to my whole life! 38 years thinking I was puerto Rican and feeling somewhat silly to be so proud of my Norwegian heritage because i believed I was only a tiny bit Norwegian/Scandinavian. OOhh how i was wrong! Turns out i am 40% Norwegian and the rest of me is all Scandinavian with the exception of 4% Irish, and yet my last name is Irish! ( I have my moms maiden name) 40%!!! Thats a huge number nowadays!! Most people in Norway dont have that much Norwegian in them! (I could be wrong about that but a website stated that and it makes sense) Anyway, I now understand why i have always been so intrigued and interested with Norse Mythology. Its in my blood! Crazy how the universe works sometimes huh? Ive spoken about my love for anything Nordic a few times but now this gives a bit more insight as to why and who i am... I'm so happy for you that you discovered a part of yourself and your heritage. Odin Reign is a very beautiful name, and I bet he will grow to love Norse Mythology as much as you!
Nice books and sure you will work your magic with them. I got a set of Super Golden Markers for Christmas along with more coloring books, Derwent Inktense pencils, and other art supplies. I had to get at least one guitar related item so it was a Fender guitar t-shirt (I do play guitar and always need just one more).😂🤣 At least I can play guitar faster than I can color. 🐢Today I went to BAM bookstore and got two Mythographic books in the bargain section for 2.97 each. Great deal! Great video as always! 😊❤❤

Happy Belated Birthday! You'll love the Maria Trolle book, I was lucky enough to get a copy of the English version earlier this year. There's a forward in the book from "Colouring with Claire," Claire Holloway. Claire encouraged Maria Trolle to re-release Droom Reis ,her first coloring book published. I really hope you share color along videos in this book or any Maria Trolle book. Wishing you a Happy, healthy, and safe New Year 🎉❤
