Wow, super helpful idea on the Prismacolor kits. I have heard about other kits they have that sneak in their pencils too, so I'm always looking for something like these.

HI Candice hope you are well and not suffering too much in the cold weather that has hit the west coast. I know what you mean about sleep patterns. My partner thinks im a vampire due to my sleep patterns. It is getting a bit better now ive been at home for a bit. Normally I work at sea and do lots of night watches - which I love, but it does mess with me when home on leave. But as im off sick now long term with a heart condition and the likelihood of returning to sea slim to none my circadian bio-rhythm has moved to the left a bit and seem to have a relatively normal sleep pattern unless I get into the groove of colouring and lose all sense of time. I once went 56 hours without sleep. We are having a cold snap here in the UK i am on the east coast ish. All my colouring/aart setup is in the conservatory and so it gets a bit chilly, so have a little convection heater and wear my fuzzy fingerless mittens. I dont have a pooch to keep me company as yet but who knows in the future. Take care

Question… does the watercolors books already have pigment on the pages or did you add your own watercolors?

This is my second time around on this video. I was feeling a little 'off', so i thought... hey that one weirdo book Candace flipped was pretty neat/humorous... let me listen to her go through it again. This is has been an excellent choice. I didn't put the book on my list the first time around because i assumed it wasn't my bag but, i'm sold now. i need this in my life so i can hear your laugh every time i open it. 😍😂

In the scary Christmas book, could that be wormy sugarplums the fairies are holding over the kid's bed? Like the Night Before Christmas poem? "The children were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads." In this case it's evil fairies dancing with wormy sugar plums in the kid's dreams/nightmares. 🤣 Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker crosses over into The Night Before Christmas.

Also what happened to DR Jekyll and Mr Hyde??? The Mummy with BF was fantastic.

I will get this eventually, just add it to the five million others that appear so seductive LOL. . The universal monsters were great but I grew up watching re-runs of the old hammer horror film versions> in the UK, .Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing were iconic. As you say I felt so sad for Erik the phantom in the book, and watching the Musical in London I was able to sit under the chandelier one matinee performance sent shivers down my spine. I had to study Mary Shellys novel in senior school and I always felt victor f was the monster, the creature never wanted to exist. The fact that only 2 people reallly treated him beyond outward appearance the girl and the blind man. Although Mel Brooks young Frankenstein is still hilarious all these years later!. I think the only universal character there I didn't like was the invisible man, despite all the nefarious deeds one could get up to, I think I was traumatised by the film Hollow man.

Loved your pages😊 Like you, I have CFS or ME ( for 35 years ) as Iam used to calling it, completely bedridden with …missing the words I think maybe one calls it homenurses throughout the day, and my husband evening and nights. Be careful, Candice, ME can get Worse if you push yourself too hard ❤ Anywhoo…I often fall asleep while colouring 😂😢 with sometimes comically disastrous results 😂😂😂 I sometimes sleep up 16 -18 hours per day, or hardly at all. Ok, realized I am about to write an essay here, I babbel even when writing 😂

Inktense made dilute will make pastel colours, I often use tiny amounts of saddle brown and carmine for pale skin tone. The paint pan white version is more opaque than the pencil, so worth looking out for

With this video you have collected basically all my mediums! I agree with you that if you have prismas and polychromos you basically have it all. I have those (and yes I’m so heavy handed but I got my polys recently so I’m trying 😅) and inktense pencils! The inktense pencils are my fav. My go to. You can get lighter pastel colors with more water 😊 I like to color on the paper and then wet it the most. When I want light shades I just barely touch the paper. Even when it looks like it’s not there, it is!! I am CONSTANTLY learning new things with them every time I use them. And I’ve been using mine for over a year! Ohh I’m so excited for you, you’re gonna have so much fun!! ❤
