i liked the two recent seasons but one problem is how they kept milking julia and priya characters in the 2nd season when other characters deserved to shine

I liked the first reboot season a lot, easily top 3 season (excluding the raptor episode), the second one was... eh? The first half was fun, the ending 3 episodes were fun, the rest wasn't
Season 1 was good and season 2 was insanely bad Legit the second season soft resets everything that happened in the first, Julia seemingly has no backlash at all from last season yet Bowie and Priya are seen as major threats and villains, Zee was a lot less funny, and a lot of the late game eliminations were weird and just existed to prolong Caleb and Priya having a godawful love story on par with the World Tour Gwuncan romance
I think Lauren could have worded her speech in S2 a little better. I understood what she meant, but it did come across as a little creepy. I may be in the minority
An all winners season would be amazing to watch! but they'll have to know it's their last season ever and I think the producers, writers, etc are always hoping to make as many seasons of their show as possible And personally I don't think it would make sense for them to invite the RR winners/finalists, it would be like inviting 1 winner of Master Chef and 1 from Drag Race to Survivor All Winners season, it's just a different tv show and they always made that clear

It's weird because with how the cast viewed him in season 2 (aside from Raj and Wayne) and how they treated him in the last episodes in season 1, they made Bowie seem like a much more evil version of Julia, but in all honesty, he was nice to pretty much everyone in the cast. Like, he's a nice guy, just strategic when the push comes to shove. That's part of the reason why I think he didn't win. Like, why does Axel, Chase, Ripper, Zee or majority give a fuck about him stealing Millie's notebook? Or trust Julia more than him? I understand Emma, Caleb, Priya and Millie being mad at him, but why make him so hateable?
To be honest, with the hot mess that was S2, I think in the unlikely chance they pull out a third season with this cast, they're gonna have to make an Island or World Tour level of good season to get themselves out of the hole that has been dug. No more milking Priya and Julia, give characters like Nichelle and Scary Girl an actual role in the season and time to grow as characters, fix that bad ships so we either just don't have to deal with them or make them salvageable at the very minimum, make moves actually be shown and developed, and make the eliminations BELIEVABLE. Elimination don't have to be believable for the season to be good. TD has had countless of silly eliminations especially in the first season yet people still like the show and season 1 is a favorite to many.
One time when I was on the UA-cam channel stream, Total Drama Official, I asked if there was a season 3 Reboot and they said: "You need to watch reboot season 1 in order to find out." So, by this quote, I am thinking there may be a new season. (I have a screenshot if you want proof)
Do they suck? IMO no. I do think the reboot is some of the great things to come out of TD. While it’s far from perfect it definitely improves upon the characters, stratagy and improves on what the first season had issues. I don’t really agree with your point about some of the characters, while I can understand wanting to see more Damien, MK, and Scary Girl, I don’t think they would add much or put any to offer incomes of story. I don’t agree with Millie tho, I thought her arc was great and probably more unique in terms of character growths. Priya isn’t exactly a Mary Sue, that’s just a cheep argument to use against a “nice athlete character” fans been using for a while. While rematch may be sour, I don’t think it’s bad, some arguments you made like Prelib plot or Julia doing schemes off screen are pretty common arguments, not to say it’s subjective but that’s what I’ve herd the most. Still I do agree with your argument on the release schedule and I’m shocked you love Scary Girl as she MK and Zee are my favorites.
I would have been more forgiving of Millie had the pacing of the notebook reveal and being forgiven by Priya had better pacing instead of all being in the finale. Looking back, I can see that Priya wasn't as unstoppable and strong as I said she was. I think that what happened in season 2 influenced what I wrote about her in season one,.
In regards to MKs skin tone, I think both were fine, I interpreted it as having more specifically Southeast asian representation Though I don't speak for every asian and can definitely see how it can be offensive, so her new skin tone is fine
I feel like the new characters in the Ridonculous race felt more like able and genuine than these reboots, they just don’t feel like they fit in the Total Drama world really…a shame
The new seasons were surprisingly great. Loved Julia and Bowie, and liked most of the cast (though hated MK first season). Not as good as Island and World Tour, but kinda equal to action.
I hate to say it but what you said about Zee completely matches with my opinion. He was a comedic riot on my first viewing of season 1, but he got less funny on my second. He still has some really great moments such as the psychedelic trip scene and his elimination.
writer bias lowkey kinda pisses me off because you can TELL what characters they had faith in (julia/priya) and characters they didn't (lauren/nishelle) it just kinda feels like duncan (favored) and ezekiel (unfavored) again, two sides of the coin that never change for the better as an ezekiel fan (yes we exist) its really hard to have a unique character as your fav when theres not enough love given to half the cast (exaggeration but oh well) like you said, priya can have her fans and the appeal exists, it just wasn't for you me personally, i 100% agree, so its kind of lame how your enjoyability is watered down to how much you enjoy the main characters if you like julia and priya, you'll love it, if you instead wish to see other characters like scary girl do something concrete, you'll hate it thats all i gotta say i love your knack for small details through like how caleb lying was super contradictory to his honest/moral personality i really hope season 3 isn't complete buns like season 2 we gotta pray lads
It's almost as if the writers are humans too with different thoughts on the characters. If they want to be biased let them be, it's their product. TD fans always show bias in their fanfics and rewrites too.
In my opinion: 23 is the reboot Total Drama needed. It had an intresting cast an there wasonky two (Ripper and Chase) that I.absolutely despised. 24 on the other hand was All-Stars all.over again. The writing was inconsistent, they gave Priya and Julia.too much plot armor, none of the finalists were rootable, the merge was too early again, and nearly evry elimination was hard to look at. So for me, I would give 23 4 stars, and 24 1 star.
The first season elimination order is okay. The second season (still including the plots that were in) I would do 16th Chase 15th Zee 14th Emma 13th Bowie 12th Millie 11th/10th Ripper 10th/11th Axel 9th Scary Girl 8th Wayne 7th Priya 6th Nichelle 5th Julia 4th Raj 3rd Caleb 2nd MK 1st Damien

Writing wise DC isn’t even better, instead of jokes, they focus on the same love plot over and over again 😭 and even that aside, their writing has major flaws

I’ve been watching the first Season as episodes get released to MAX (cause I live in America) and I’ve been enjoying it.
