If you watch closely hershberger was on the lead...He wasnt rough gaited he just jumped it off....He got him back pacing then the horse tried to jump the pillons...Really nothing the driver coulda done.....He did the right thing when the horse went off stride.He took him to the inside
and the dominoes fall...wow. there is a bias towards harness racing because the accidents LOOK SO HORRIBLE. people who don't follow harness racing will see a video like this and conclude its a dangerous sport that should be banned. they don't know accidents are extremely rare and most of the time, neither the drivers or horses sustain serious injuries. standardbreds are very tough and durable horses...not like their fragile thoroughbred counter parts. these tough little horses were probably up and racing the next week.

I like watching sad to say. it's justice for all the cheating they have done over the past.
I know it's not funny....but the last horse looked like he trampled that guy on purpose..
Glad everyone walked away horses and drivers..
Of course the clueless driver casued it as he kept "asking for more" while the horse was so rough for an 1/8 of a mile.
