The thing over the windscreen is a wiper motor, the big cylinder in the roof is the air cleaner for the engine it should be down near the floor plate but it has been moved uo there, this is done usually when the machine is working in dusty conditions so the engine has cleaner air higher up. The truck is a H50H capacity is 5000lbs at 24 inch load centres. the mast looks like a 3,3 mtr IFL two stage. Normally in the UK it would have had a Hyster mototrol powershift transmission but this one looks like it has a wet clutch and two speed gearbox. The tyres would normally be sold or what we called soft solid these can be changed for pneumatic tyres. These were the best selling lift truck in the UK in the 70s and 80s they are unbustable you will never wear it out.

That thing looks like a wiper motor, it looks like it may have been an enclosed cab, doors, windows, etc,...

Thing on top is an air filter.
Lever on right is up and down also tilt looks like 2 speed left levers one high and low range other fwd and reverse and it is a clutch.
Why do you call it a Hoister
