The meaning behind this song is very sad 💔 Her adoptive parents abused her when she was a kid.. The room she was locked in had yellow walls.. Then at the beginning, the trophies are when she won drawing and singing contests💛 But her adoptive parents will always get mad when she join some contest 💔 And I noticed she wore the blouse that choked her at the beginning.. I wonder what that meant 💔
Maybe it symbolizes her adoptive parents forcing her to do things she didn't want to like how she was forced to wear that dress in the MV.
I know it's so sad
@@shellamaetinapunan1474 your right i was think of the same thing so maybe the blouse that chocked her symbolizes her abusive adoptive parents that forces her to do what they want even though she hates doing those stuff they were forcing on her....... its sad that a fellow filipino had to go through all those things😞😞😞
@@theeyelessangel3976 As a fellow Filipino also, one of the things why I love and admire about her is how strong she is to be able to survive that kind of trauma/experience and turn that into a meaningful art as what she is doing with her music right now, you can see her story and her passion in her music/music video, and that's just so amazing and admirable to see from her.
maybe they controlled what she wore
She was adopted and was made their personal maid. Bullied also in school. Wasnt allowed to sit in the couch she could only watch tv sitting on the floor. The trophies i think she once shared she would join talent shows in school and not tell her parents because they wouldn’t allow her. So she would join these contests with no support while seeing other kids with proud mommies and daddies. She would go home with trophies and she had to hide them or her dad would get mad. Up until this day she said she has a few trophies (from talent shows) in the Philippines
Also she was never allowed to go out
I have a feeling those are also the kind of parents who'll pretend they care when they found out she's famous
She was also made to clean pig shit and feed them.
@@wolfyowoz yeap they did and they contacted her. And said ‘sorry you felt that way’
I noticed she wore the blouse that choked her at the beginning.. I wonder what that meant 💔
In the comment section of her music video, she explains that her parents were controlling and they would lock her in her room from the outside. The yellow was a color they forced her to like to show that they had the power in the house. She felt as if, at that time, she was in a living hell. This is the first we've really heard of her childhood stories but she said that she's planning on letting us know more when she's ready.
Watch Anna oops vid on her
There's literally a podcast about her life in the Philippines and how and why she got into the navy wayyyy before she made this song
Well I think this is Basically about Bella Poarch's dark pasts when she was younger tho. She was abused.
It is, if you go to the video of this song video she filmed she stated this song inspired her about her trauma in this yellow room she was forced to stay in and couldn’t never escape held against her own will.
@@hennessy7695 Yeah
I noticed she wore the blouse that choked her at the beginning.. I wonder what that meant 💔
Yeah the yellow is because her room was yellow and she has bad trauma from the color yellow
@@Bri-eb5bn omg yeah D:
You will definitely like her other videos build a bitch and dolls. Those two are connected story wise. She is such as creative artist who is one of the only rare Tiktok stars who genuinely has a great music career.
You forgot to say Inferno
That one isn't connected story wise neither is this one but its good
Living hell is like a story of her childhood. -Courtney (2 people run this acc)

"Living Hell is a story about my childhood. It’s a story about how I struggled growing up inside a real-life living hell in a tiny room in the Philippines. My whole life, I’ve been trying to escape my childhood trauma, my living hell, and no matter how much therapy I do, no matter how much medicine I take, and no matter how far I try to run away…it always comes back to haunt me. The music video is inspired by my childhood room. My room was yellow and had a lock on the outside. Yellow because it was a color I was forced to like growing up. It was my parents way of letting me know that they have the power in the house. And a lock on the outside because my parents wanted to make sure that I didn’t escape when I was in there. It was really hard for me to relive this while shooting the music video. I really want to talk to you more about it when I’m ready. Sorry for the essay the reason I’m writing this because I want all of you who are reading this and all of you who have supported me along this journey to understand that I love you more than you know. You guys are my escape. You guys are why I wake up everyday. You guys are the reason that I’m able to break free from this mess and in my darkest times, understand that things are going to be okay. I truly can’t thank you enough and I want you to know that I’m here for you the same way that you’re here for me. To anyone who is also going through their own living hell, you will escape and I'll be right there by your side. This one's for you💛" - Bella Poarch
so sorry to hear that, I hope you're doing better than ever and living your best life with the best people now
This song was inspired by her traumatic childhood. The yellow symbolizes the fact that her parents has control over her and the small room in the beginning was her room before. She now has freedom like all of us!
Not all the people has freedom
@@itsavaxd That's true but atleast she has freedom niw
Watch all her videos she tells her story through the art of singing. She's phenomenal.
💯
I'm so proud of her for opening up about this, i hope she gets over all this trauma soon.
As of what I know the yellow is a representation of her inner self wanting to be free from the way she was treated in her childhood and the song is sang from the perspective of her parents that used to be ab*sing her
I also read in her pinned comment that yellow was the inside of her past room and it came with a lock on the outside of it so her parents could keep her trapped in her room. She also said that yellow was the colour she was forced to like growing up, and that it was her parent's way of letting Bella know that they have control over the house
The yellow is her parents painting it cause they wanted to control her
I noticed she wore the blouse that choked her at the beginning.. I wonder what that meant 💔
I think the song is more from her perspective, how the abuse has affected her ability trust and love others
Read the comment section of the music video, Bella basically explained the whole story of the video in the pinned comment and it's so heartbreaking 💔😟
About this Song Nudity means freedom and liberation in Arts. This is a metaphor of her life and being freed from her toxic parents. Yellow is sometimes associated with happiness or anything you want to have.
@@billyswift5394 i know.. im just saying.. u have problem with that 🤔🤨😃
@@billyswift5394 im not mad ok..
@@billyswift5394 wow.. im saying, its im not mad.. im just saying bruh
@@hajime.9781 no one said you’re mad…
yellow is her fave color, and she said it represents happiness.
her covered in yellow is like covering her trueself with fake happiness

its not her favorite color. She was forced to like the color
the concept of the video is just about waking up in the same nightmare again and again. You can see she woke up three times and found herself in the same room she was locked up to when she was a child. At the end, she thought she could finally escape that's why she smiled but then she was still pulled back by the harsh reality, by her inner demons that keep haunting her. I really like the analysis of this one youtube creator. He says that the yellow room is actually a reference to the first locked-room mystery novel written by the French author Gaston Learoux called THE MYSTERY OF THE YELLOW ROOM. Given Bella Poarch's penchant to refencing famous literary works like she did with her second music video, Inferno (which was greatly based on the first part of Italian writer Dante Alighieri's 14th-century epic poem Divine Comedy called DANTE'S INFERNO), i would say he was not far from the truth. Her first music video, Build a Bitch, also have a great concept. It's a reference to an American Build-A-Bear workshop.

The title living hell is actually how's she describes her childhood
read the pinned comment by her under the music video, she explains everything and if you wanna know like MORE more, watch the h3 podcasts about her
I didn’t know what to expect but this turned out really well.
She killed that
Bella Poarch is a fantastic instant success. Bella Poarch posted her first TikTok in April 2020. Her rise to fame started only two years ago, by August 2020. She is so new many people say I never heard of her. Rare is the person that watches a video once without a follow up search. Thank you for you review on her video.
It's not about her making people's lives a living he!!, Its about her childhood trauma coming back to haunt her and make *her* life a living he!!
Imagine a scene about a character on a murderous spree, killing everyone that has hurt them with this song playing in the background
i feel so bad for bella poarch😢
100% you gotta react to her other stuff, the production value and her voice is top tier 😩
She explained the meaning in the pinned comment on this mv. Basically about her childhood
Goosebumps goshhh
Its her music video list:
1.Build A B*tch
2.Inferno
3.Dolls
Hope you react this 3song
She commented the meaning of the song on her music video if you didn't get it. It's heartbreaking.
that video is inspired by her past which she was placed in a yellow room by her parents and abused and the room is yellow because her adoptive parents forced her to like that color she was born and raised in the philipiens but she tried to run away and she joined the aarmy at 17 and them quit and started making tiktoks and now shes making music but otherwise its a realllly good song im a really big fan of her music
When I saw this for the first time I found it creepy but when I learned the scary backround story of this music video idk what to say man it is horrifying
All of her songs has deep meaning
Saw that video/listened to that song on tv by coincidence. But made me search for her.
excellent reaction. In his videos he talks about his past and what he lives.
Yah it's my favorite ❤ I love the bit and the sound I dance for that song .🌎🙏👍🎵❤️
This song is made about her childhood bella said that there was so much yellow because it was the color she was forced to like growing up.
I recommend yous watch her billboard interview to really understand the whole concept of the music vid
Dude, please react to Bella Poarch's Build a Bitch and Inferno!!! Pretty please. Or do the whole album. I swear you won't hear any bad song from her. Subbed for this
from what i see with the robe choking her, kinda reminds me of what mums would wear. kinda could be like a flashback of the way she was treated. Plopped her into the bath with yellow goo/ paint. I looked into the interview of this, she said she liked the colour yellow and was one of the things she liked in her childhood was the yellow room she stayed in, and it gave her a positive feeling. But then theres the yellow shes been drenched in which she said was like a cover for what people see her as: “happy”. And she did explain that she couldnt tell anyone what was going on in the house or when she did no one believed her. So practically it was a metaphor that the parents had covered her in this false fact to hide the way theyve treated her.
He parents locked her in her yellow room with locks at the door when she was a child so she wont escape. She’s been dealing with trauma
The yellow was when her “parents” painted it all yellow to have control over her. Trophies she kept hidden from them.
Please react on her Other EP. Build a Bitch, Dolls and inferno. Thank you.
You should check her other videos. She basically makes movies lol
i think the reason why the yellow stuck to her until it was like a yellow skin in the middle of the video signifies how her trauma stuck with her until it became a part of her. i read her comment on the official music video, and she says no matter how much therapy and medicine she takes, she can't forget what happened. it's so sad that she had to go through all of that, no one should ever have to go through all that.
Whats Up Idk If U Remember Me But ur vids are good
basically bella was abused when she was younger and this song represents her childhood. her room growing up was all yellow and the color made her feel happy so the bathtub scene is her drowning herself in the color yellow to try and get happy.
yeah @Next Up if you read her pinned comment. it explains the symbolism and meaning of the song.
She was adopted by abusive parents who lived on a farm in the Philippines.she had to work on the farm for hours and wasn't able to take a shower after so she would go to school smelling bad,she also had a small yellow room because that was colour she was forced to like and also the parent's way showing they have power over her and Bella's room had a lock too so she wouldn't escape her brother got was treated poorly too, her sister got treated better they got to sit on the couch while watching tv whilst Bella and her brother had to sit on the floor.she then joined the army because her dad worked there.then she moved and started to do tik toks then moved on to music. (there's prob typos but ye that's basically what happened)
It's become my favorite song. Along with Melanie Martinez and mia Rodriguez and ashnikko..
