Let's see just how tough is one of the most talked about G-Shock of 2019, the GA2100. Also known as Casio Royal Oak and AP G-Shock, The GA-2100 has gotten a lot of attention from people that are not into G-Shocks usually, and that is the result of a much cleaner and simpler design of this model. It looks a lot more serious, and less like a toy. I personally LOVE the design and love the size! The GA 2100 comes in more and more color variations meaning Casio is aware of it's success.
This time I got the black and white version which is the most legible!
When I did the series of torture tests more than 2 years ago using digital G-Shock, many people wanted to see how an analog watch would do, since it has moving parts including the hands. Well, your wish is finally getting fullfilled!
Using an industrial paint shakes, we'll shake this thing into pieces....or not, watch to find out.

After using 3 years of G-Shock I got white water patches on my watch all around...
Is their any remedies for that...
You should wipe them dry after being exposed to water it is water calc. Try washing it with a toothbrush and soap

I'd buy a Casio SUV absolutely. Although I feel that Toyota is basically the car equivalent of G-Shock; simple, bulletproof, cool, japanese. Cheers!

Haha maybe ill do that one day, but i have to put some tape on the bottom to stop small pieces falling thru the holes qnd damaging the machine, since I am pretty sure a mechanical watch would fall apart

Funny, the same can be said for casio ads. The bike don't even shake apart a human, how could it damage a watch.

I wouldn't have bet it would survive when i read your announcement. Since i have this watch i am extra happy it made it through the shaker without damage :)

@@WatchGeek That why I love my g steel b100d-aer if its a sunny day and you go inside the watch glows very bright, even in daylight.
Definitely get the 3 gen casioak. The bracelet is linked to the bezel and not the carbon body. Looks better (I think) and I feel better about it

I had a Casioak but it did not survive a mod attempt. I was actually kind of glad because I didn't really care for it.
Great objective test... I think if a body was attached to the watch in the shaker, all your fillings would have fallen out and you’d have lost your glasses too 😄

No as it would damage the shroud and bracelet while I think the watch would survive
@@choi3310 The metal g shocks arent any weaker, they still have the resin core unless you get a really expensive one but the metal scratches unlike the normal resin g shocks. So it would survive the same, it just would end up very scratched which is cosmetic damage at most.

You should try doing this with a G-Shock that has a seconds hand
They are all digital analogue as far as I know, so a motor runs the hands, so the worst I can see happening is the hand moves position because the hands will slip before they break.

Yes it is, you can see the damage on the bezel and strap, the intro and outro of the video were recorded after the shock test :)

I doubt this is analog watch. This is digital watch with analog dial. They probably use stepper motors to rotate hands.

You should fix it to something heavy and then try again. This is not much of a challenge for this watch.

Still not 100% relevant, should test one with a seconds hand; and, I think, the watch should be fixed on the oscillating box, not bounce inside it. This way it is just under mild collision shocks, but not under the real vibration, the real acceleration (this can do real dammage). The position it is fixed on the oscillating box would be relevant also, giving the direction of the vibration (just as the position is relevant in a COSC test) 😉
Casio already has done thay type of a test, you can find it on UA-cam, with a seconds hand and nothing happened, but trust me, this is much harder as you have multiple impacts non-stop
