A good way to make a pretty much perfect circle is to hammer one nail in, tie a string to it, tie a pencil to the other end of the string. Then all you gotta do is pull the string taut and draw. Very useful life hack! The flowers look lovely as they are though.
You don’t even need to hammer anything in. You could use a dressmakers pin and piece of thread, that way you won’t have a hole to deal with. Or just use a stick on hook like she’s using.
@@Lillith_0.o a roof is the exterior that protects the top of a structure from the elements, whereas a ceiling is the internal lining, the finishing material that covers the underside of a roof or the floor above. Just because you don’t understand or use the usual definition doesn’t mean it doesn’t apply to everyone else. If you were in a tall building and were told to put something on the roof which floor would you go to?
Pretty flowers! I wouldn’t do it simply for health reasons - collected dust/germs fall into food being prepped. Maybe if they’re made of silk the dust may stick less, I’m unsure
You could spray them in a mixture of vinegar, dish soap and rinse aid so they don't collect (as much) dust anymore. I use it for other surfaces and it's a game changer. You can find recepies online. 😊
That’s awesome! I maybe would’ve started with opposing sides. Two across from each other - rotate - the other two across. Just to make sure the circle was symmetrical
How do you dust them? With fake flowers ive always struggled with them collecting dust, and simple patting them off never worked because its like the dust STICKS to them. Ive always had to wash them, which feels like a lot of work, especially with a setup like this
I love it. It is extremely pretty as a seasons change you can change your flowers because here in a couple months you’re going to be sick of looking at those. I’ve done stuff like that around my house and it’s great. It’s beautiful. You’ll get lots of compliments, but looking at that for a long time, believe me, you will get sick of it.
Thank you for sharing this I wanted to use them outside to make a flower roof above a lounge set and wasn’t sure how it would look since those Amazon pictures usually look way better then they do irl but I love the effect they give and definitely gone go ahead with my plans now 🥰
This is nice, but I would trust those not to fall. Personally, I'd get a large ring to secure the flowers, too. Then I'd anchor that to the ceiling with something rated to the weight. All in all, this would solve the dust problem because it could be removed for cleaning.
Wow I wouldn’t have even thought of this I thought those were meant to stick out of a pot 😅 I LOVE how this looks tho!! So simple and it looks like they’re just growing from the ceiling
This is so cute and so are you you should do it more permanently, though I think find better equipment for the foundation of the chandelier. Your idea is brilliant and it looks good.
This works beautifully for a temporary decoration for a party/celebration. When you're done, you can take the flowers down, leaving the stickers up for the next event so you can decorate without worrying about dust and germ issues.

@wii8551ceiling* and it’s not going to be noticeable
@@timberlyncarthins6096 where I'm from we call the interior part a roof so I don't think there's a need to correct them 😁
@@Lillith_0.o oh my bad i didn’t know that was a thing

Haha, I thought that baby came in and just randomly started washing dishes 😂 so cute.

So trueee, dust collectors right above the food, hell no
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this.
Agreed, cute for patios/sun rooms, though
Looks like she made it for an event. I don’t think it’s a permanent installation.

OMG so PRETTY!!! 💜 💜 💜
I think it's cute and you can change it up for the holidays!
As a guy who’s allergic to dust mites, the pretty esthetic is my personal hell.
yeah that's why I could never do this one also, I'd be taking this down in less than a week
Dust with breakfast lunch and dinner. Yum
You're allergic to dustmites, the pretty aesthetic isn't your problem, existing in the world is.
@@PawsitivelyQuestionable i mean, having something that’s very difficult to clean directly above where food goes is pretty bad for allergies lol
And a spiders new apartment
I absolutely love your kitchen!!!

You can’t. She’s going to find out the hard way
I was wondering the same thing!
That's what I thought. Dust magnet
Maybe spraying them with waterproofing spray would help? The kind you use for shoes
@@aleksandra1650 This is actually smart af. I would think it will create a slick layer over the flowers that makes it easy to remove the dust.
Super cute idea!
Beautiful!!

I really hope they stay up there when the weather changes, a lot of sticky stuff like that tends to fall off ❤

Except, they collect dust!! I'm not trying to dust all those flowers

I love the girl math that happened with the measurements. Making a circle on the ceiling is so logical to me.
How clever ❤
You made a dust catcha!
I just take mine outside and shake the hell out of it to get the dust off and then blow it with the leaf blower really lightly ✨️🤙TAADAA!
Great job!
