This stuff is so fascinating, love it. I watch videos like this, and I can't help but think what an unfathomable waste of resources the Cold War was. Don't get me wrong, I am pro-military and understand the need for a strong national defense. Just the Cold War in general was a case study in wasted resources from a build up to a confrontation that never happened.
Dave B the confrontation never happened in large part because of the resources that had been used to make it unsustainable and unwinnable man, that's hardly a waste. Better spend money than lives IMO. That's the whole point of the doctrine of the Cold War.
Another class video. Pleased your wearing masks. 👍 You guys should pay for a confined space training course, it would help you a lot with the places you go. It could also save your life. ♥️

The ferrous metal was almost untouched, mostly copper and aluminum were cut and disassembled, and the equipment where precious metals in the form of gold and platinum could be contained was partially disassembled.
Baby wipes clean but do not really sanitize... You are young and healthy so maybe no big deal. As someone else advised, I would change out of everything when you get out and bag it and change into uncontaminated clothing. Or wear tyvek as one of you did. Also, re-wearing the tyvek means you are carrying the contaminated suit around with you. They are really intended for single use and disposal... You could really use a safety person on the outside, with radio links. I realize that traveling light enables you to get in and out of some of these(maybe all?) of these sites, but I was thinking what if one of you had a medical during that crawl-in, you really didn't have a good way to rescue them and get out. It would be nice to so some more margin of safety when you are underground. Great video, be safe.
Great Video and an interesting subject. May I make a couple of suggestions though? First get and carry a couple of Sensors. CO2, low Oxygen and Radon. They are well worth the cost. Second, when crawling through narrow spaces like your entry Tunnel don't push your Packs ahead of you. Instead bring some Cordage along with you. (I like 100 foot lengths.) Attach a Carabiner to one end and attach that to the drag Handle on the Pack. Do your crawl to the exit or to the end of the Cord and then pull the Pack along behind you. (If you really want to be safe attach 2 lines to the Pack. One for you and one for the person following you. They can unstick the Pack if needed.)
Those Delta Terminals (Computers) were only used by the US Military, no other world military would have had them, and they are from the early 80's, so this must have been sealed off the in the past 20 to 25 years and was in used by the US government.

OMG!!!! Amazing!!!!! episode! Thank you!! it reminded me of OSTWALL BUNKER !! in Poland
Vault 99. You should check your pip boy to see if there is any rads.
Good job guys.. great memories from that bunker 😂
Chiara, su per giù mi dici dov'è? Regione o provincia se non vuoi entrare nello specifico, al resto penso io
so nice to see this adventure, this bunker is still rare among our urbexers
This stuff is so fascinating, love it. I watch videos like this, and I can't help but think what an unfathomable waste of resources the Cold War was. Don't get me wrong, I am pro-military and understand the need for a strong national defense. Just the Cold War in general was a case study in wasted resources from a build up to a confrontation that never happened.
Dave B the confrontation never happened in large part because of the resources that had been used to make it unsustainable and unwinnable man, that's hardly a waste. Better spend money than lives IMO. That's the whole point of the doctrine of the Cold War.
what you can do to make crawling though the tunnel easier is tying your bag to one of your legs and dragging it instead of trying to push it.
Bellissimo episodio...avevo sentito parlare di questo posto...Grazie ragazzi per avercelo mostrato!😎♥️
21:48 love the Tropospheric Scatter dishes!
Another class video. Pleased your wearing masks. 👍 You guys should pay for a confined space training course, it would help you a lot with the places you go. It could also save your life. ♥️
Asbestos goes through most masks, you need special p3 filter to stop it.. the ignorance of you people on this subject is astonishing
Can’t believe the turkey bases are so poorly named, it says batman, surely it should be Wayne manor or the batcave!
Truly great work, watched probably 20 episodes in a row!
wow. Please take one of those keebs with u at home. I would kill for those keycaps(Orange Dolch looking ones at the beginning)+ switches
You found the real black mesa! Nice
imagine hearing running steps towards you in the middle of the long tunnel.
@3:28; reminds me of Bishop in the tunnel between the Atmosphere Air Air Handling Unit and the Up-link Array.
A dangerous thing to do (for androids or humans)..
UAU.... Que espectacular vocês são os melhor top dos tops parabéns
Very Good, looks like Fallout scenario
4:46 nice shot
Imagine finding an old Bunker and Squatting in it, the ultimate Man Cave!
Coolbeens. Yet another cool place and cool video
Instant anxiety watching you guys crawl through that tunnel.
Another top notch location 👌 Keep up the good work!!
The ferrous metal was almost untouched, mostly copper and aluminum were cut and disassembled, and the equipment where precious metals in the form of gold and platinum could be contained was partially disassembled.
so Iam glad you took things with you to clean up, I hope you took them out with you also, no point in contaminating other things..good job
I LOVE the cold war stuff! keep it up! :)
Nice episode again. Keep it up guys!
0:35 Looks like we'll be exploring up your nose too.
Those Delta Terminals (Computers) were only used by the US Military, no other world military would have had them, and they are from the early 80's, so this must have been sealed off the in the past 20 to 25 years and was in used by the US government.
Should have been sealed in 96
America shares It's tech with other NATO countries, not all of it obviously but i wouldn't be surprised if computers were one of those things
Amazing stuff. Wished I experienced more of the time when computers weren't invading our lives, but were just Text terminals, to display, actual information. Instead of who got butthurt about life on facebook. Question, Was the shown model actually sold on the private market?, or government orders only?
@@yomadman90 This would be about right, most active cold war bunkers in Europe were decommissioned around '91 - '92 and maintained by caretaker/s until the mid 90s when they either got demolished (mostly above ground structures) or sealed up.
@@MokokerMovies In a quick search online, the only reference I found was to 10 7260TCs acquired by the CIA in 1981 (a FOIA request, for whatever reason - Freedom of Information Act). The request also had a notation saying that they wouldn't be getting 9600 BPS out of them until upgraded.
Awesome vid guys! Keep exploring
This is a 007 Golden Eye level in the control room lol
Top tip when going through confined spaces. Tie your gear around your ankle and drag it behind your. Fantastic video as always thanks for sharing
until it gets snagged and you can't reach back to untie it... maybe around the wrist on a long enough bit of paracord? At least that way if you get hung up you can ditch it.
@@afterlifedes you have a very valid point there lol
I wouldn't block my only known exit.
I kinda liked that more than the ammo factory but it was cool seeing all the machines and that rocket launcher.... Both epic sites!!!
Greetings from Florida's East Coast!
Love your channel, keep up the amazing videos
Amazing. I wonder if they would renovate the bunker if need be. Anyway Hope you guys aren't grounded for too long because of the Virus . Looking forward to the atomic shelter video now :). Stay safe out there
Would likely cost too much to be feasible unfortunately
Good stuff gentlemen.
Badass as usual. Stay safe out there

We want to go here folks :D
Thanks, ! Been to a better one in Italy, a real time capsule but took the video down since they sued me for 'having state secrets' (5 years in prison)
Awesome as always Bob.
99% sure this is Proto. It was one of the first NATO mountain bases or bunkers. Cheyenne Mountain Complex was actually based off this complex (in the aspect of what to do and not do). Proto closed mid 90s (want to say 96) sad to see it in such disarray. If the cold war had gone hot, this base was one of the first to know.
I think you are correct. Whilst serving in AFSouth 1979, I spent some time in Proto and I recognise some of the areas shown on this video.
Awesome video quality. Steady camera work. Well done.
GREAT EXPLORE.. Love the Panda hat, haha
oh man I was claustrophobic 2 feet into that tunnel, on your bellies.
Are those HEPA filter masks for Asbestos ? BE SAFE GUY'S.......
6:50 mark, that is some great example of Efflorescence Crystalline deposit, not a fungus. Wow
Other Grey hair fungus looks like a Poop fungus or Phycomyces. Probably cat. fun stuff, lol
Damn, so many variations of mold down there. Nasty, Nasty...
Dudes, you got to wear charcoal filter masks. Those dust masks are not sufficient for protecting against all that shit that was in there. Stay safe so you can keep making amazing videos!
He can get abekp3 filters for that jsp force 8
