One of the best prog rock musicians of all time 🎼🎵🎶🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵🎵
November 1980, i was a student...The first Steve's concert of my life. It was the " Defector " tour and i was seventeen, that period of one's life when everyday is full of happiness and joy.
Everytime i hear " Spectral mornings" my mind goes to that part of my life wich has been wonderful. Then things have changed, , i lost people i loved in few years but i'll never forget those times and the music i was used to listen.
I'm grateful to Steve for all the unforgettable moments i've been through listening to his masterpieces. Hard to explain what i felt and what i feel even now when i listen to him. Thank you so much !!
Music can be a powerful force in one's memory just as long as the music connects with the heart, Steves earlier albums, 'Acolyte', 'Spectral Mornings' , 'Defector' and his solo albums like 'Bay of Kings' can have a profound effect upon such memories.
I have been searching for this album for YEARS. Best versions of some of these songs. Thank you
Love this liver version of "Camino Royale"!
Il est vrai que la musique de Steve Hackett est une question d'unité et d'une myriade de petites choses qui la rendent si attractive et indispensable 🤗🤠
Insanely good live Hackett album. Thanks for the upload Bohunk
Magnifique...
The Time Lapse “Every Day” version of Steve Hackett is my favorite. I was shocked today to find it had disappeared from my playlist - I had recorded it digitally off the CD some years ago. Thank you Bohunk for providing the album, it does not seem to be available online anywhere!
This is the first solo Hackett I ever bought (from the CD racks at Best Buy, if you can believe that) and the first track through the fifth are just glorious; the CD could end right there. The rest is fine but the focus of those first tracks is transcendent.
Don't know why this is not available anywhere, not new, not on streaming. I wonder if some legal complications came up in regard to the Nottingham 1990 tracks, as this has been re-released multiple times, but not by Hackett himself.
Depth Charge borrowed from "In the Skin" Wishbone Ash number from 1987
