I mean, there’s got to be something special to the story if people still read it, remake it into modern teen flics and such after so long. 🙄

I love how whenever they are together Mr Knightly can’t take his eyes off Emma and the One time he does ( the duet with Jane Fairfax) she gets jealous! This fanvid is my favorite it captures their relationship and the song choice is perfect too❤️

Boring? 😭 its my favourite movie ever, give it a try! Of course in the first 30 minutes wont happen anything like really entertaining, and I know you said this a year ago haha, but you really should see it. If you’re a fan of romance and adaptations, you’ll love it

They are my favorite Emma and Knightley so far; so much chemistry. The way he looks at her melts my heart. I am undone! ❤️
Emma should have known that him giving jane his carriage was only a pretence so he could walk without being judged. (See beginning of the film, knightley and his housekeeper)

Watched this because i got so obsessed with anya after watching The queen's gambit and I already watched it thrice this week.. help! Their chemistry is insane!!! Emma 2020 has the best dance scene out of all the Austen adaptations out there. I LOVE THEM!!

Johnny Flynn's Knightley is my favorite, in the final scene we can see how upset he felt when Emma wouldn't let him talk his feeling out. I am not sure if the nosebleed is necessary.. there is a pause there like waiting for the bleed to come from nose and that's kind of awkward lol

I didnt like jane eyre, i dont know why if Im a big fan of this type of movies and I LOVED p&p and emma. But I really didnt connected a lot with jane eyre

@@albertofrosini7611 I am not. You've gone mad if you think this version can ever be the best. Have you really seen them all? Even the 2009 series? It's definitely the best adaptation they ever made one of Jane Austen's novel.
I love this version. I love the set design, the cinematography. Some shots are so lovely you want to freeze time to look at them. The acting is superb. The tone switches from comedy to heartbreak on a dime. I love the absurdity and the pathos are so close and side by side. Jane Austen understood how bittersweet life could be. She captures the heartbreak so well. Her stories are timeless. This feels so contemporary like a music video and the era perfectly. Timeless beauty.
