I’m thankful I live in San Diego!!!! We really don’t have to worry too much about this. It seldom get too cold or too hot for us to concern ourselves with this. To us, a window is something you open when it get warm and something that we can look out of when it’s cool.
That’s why we go with Anlin or Western! Right Jeff? Lol With a great installer can’t go wrong

Would the Windsor window qualify for CA's Title 24, where all windows and sliders have to be Low-E Three?
If you order it that way, it will. You just need to specify that when placing your order.
I would be leery of anything from a big box store! Or if the company only offers one kind of window.

Wasnt Lowes brand also Better Bilt? I have a houseful of them about 20 years old - junk. looks fine perform crappy.
They have different manufacturers make their products for different locations across the country. It would be hard to know for sure who made this window.
This window specifically was an MI window from 2011.
How did cheaper window fail after 9 years? Omg this window thing is getting too complicated. I don’t even want to attempt to buy new windows. In the south when it gets real hot, we close our blinds and shutters. Problem solved.
Yes, it can be complicated. That's the reason I created this channel to educate people.
