This personally sounds more like the soundtrack of a very good video game level. At different points in the level the pace changes from a more focused platforming speed to a fast, intense bullet hell.
I'm waiting for them to make some crazy action 8 bit open world game and throw all these 8 bit cover songs as themes to different area's enemies and bosses

Almost everyone wanted a more Hybrid Theory/Meteora like album. I wanted that too. But as a fan I support them and whatever they decide to make. If you want the metal sound that they have you have 2-3 (The Hunting Party has metal records) albums that they've made. Personally even I listen to their old stuff more but I support every decision they make with their new albums.

A thousand suns is one of their iconic albums, like it or not and just becase they did it doesnt mean thwy didnt go back to their roots later on (the hunting party) obviously my favorite albums and meteora and hybrid theory but I also absolutely love minutes to midnight, a thousand suns and the hunting party, not a fan of living things though but anyway Im sure the album will grow on us
