Love how you categorize them, I used to think VA was just mundane office tasks but online lol But I realized it’s so much more. Going by my past experiences and what I do at home I’d fit in Organization, Design, and Website. That really helped take the load off of trying to figure out what I could do. And I like what you said in this or another video about how you can pick and choose which skills and services to offer and you can always offer later once you know more skills. Makes so much sense! And lastly, I am a free mama!

Hey Lauren, I am a hard working mama of four and am completely burnt out, overworked underappreciated and tired of struggling!!! I have been an adoption Care coordinator for 12 years in the office and in the field. I have put my heart and soul in this job but there is no room for growth and not working for our family any longer. I need a major change! Hi! I've watched your videos and I find it very interesting. Anyway I am 45 years old single mom of 2 kids. I dn't have any experience as a Virtual Assistance but I want to try it. Since am on leave from work for 3 months. Might as well make myself useful and productive. Based from my previous work and current work. And as what my friends used to describe me, I am very talkative and friendly person. But I am not perfect or expert in computer. I worked as a receptionist before but not long time. With my current job, I am responsible dealing with customers, and doing sales report daily and monthly using spreadsheet. I have basic knowledge in computer. Hi Lauren, Thanks for the information. It's out of context but just one quick question, let's say you already have a VA agency, then client contacts you and he said "I want someone to handle my social media channels, line up at least 4 candidates". Now, do I have to charge him for like a placement fee? reason being is sure you're interested, but we go out and find that talents, screen, interview, and when we the line up is in place and we try to tell you that the candidates are ready, then you can't reach the client anymore. How do you solve this? or how can we improve the process to avoid wasting effort
Hi Mark, I'm sorry I am just now seeing this, but yes I would discuss compensation for the work of finding candidates, whether its a flat fee or a commission!

Thanks for the information. It's out of context but just one quick question, let's say you already have a VA agency, then client contacts you and he said "I want someone to handle my social media channels, line up at least 4 candidates".
Now, do I have to charge him for like a placement fee? reason being is sure you're interested, but we go out and find that talents, screen, interview, and when we the line up is in place and we try to tell you that the candidates are ready, then you can't reach the client anymore. How do you solve this? or how can we improve the process to avoid wasting effort

Hi Mark, I'm sorry I am just now seeing this, but yes I would discuss compensation for the work of finding candidates, whether its a flat fee or a commission!

How can I get experience in different services before signing up? In your training do you offer some experience or practice with any of the types of virtual assistant services?
I have over two dozen software trainings within the program. Also, the program is designed to have you implement certain things in your own business so that you have the experience of setting up and managing systems for yourself prior to working with a client.
