That’s rotten as fuck, I would’ve reported that for real. That’s exploiting the game, with a strategy like that you could in theory have gotten him banned for excessive PKing.

Back in those days my best friend and neighbour got a new friend that kept being nice to him for days, made him feel important and needed, just to do this to him, i remember him coming at my door crying, heartbroken, which is not that surprising when comes to Tibia PvP but when he told me what this guy did to him i did not believe him and i only ended up believing him when this scam was discovered, 'till this day this is by far the most evil thing i've ever witness when comes to social behavior in online games.

I used to play tibia from 02-07 and while I never did something as diabolical as this, I used to scam and trap people when I was 13-14 years old and I always felt a little bad after doing it, but something about the adrenaline kept me coming back to doing this kind of stuff. As I got older I started to feel more empathic towards others and stopped doing it, so people can grow out of bad habits. Now if we’re talking about actually grown ups doing it that’s a different story, as they’re already developed as people and should definitely know better.

I actually dont understand how the guy wasn’t banned, I searched tibia wiki and they said the limit was 6 characters and they replaced the ban with black skull, but the guy kills 7 characters and doesnt get banned not black skull

same depending the situation i used to hide it in boxes, bags or in monsters corpses etc. But if there was no other option everything thrown to the water….
@@ChrisSAGD i know right, but when i walked around tibia i always dragged the sqm behind trees looking for stuff because i knew people without cap would always resort to uncanny shit like this to try and hide the goods, and sometimes i would find stuff lol
@@MaloureTV you did it, i did it, but 95% of players didn't look for such hidden bags at all. This indeed is a great way to secure the stuff and worth a try in such situation. He could also hide it in bookshelf or some box. Then trhow some trash to the water to pretend he sunk his eq.

The Great Shield got stolen from us by a former friend that I tought we could trust. I ended up with close to nothing from that aswell because I feelt guilty pushing people to trust my friend who stole it. So total waste from my pov. (Antica). Fooled the guy with giving him uhs and suddenly in the mix of the runes given I gave him that rune that is like gfb but ice (haven't played in many many years).

this was no longer the tibia game. How would someone with 1 char lvl 170 do this nonsense? These were times of lots of BOT and easy play. no real tibia player would have fallen for this
he made the guy throw a fire bomb at the oven by convincing him this action was needed for a quest, and after the guy did, his team proceeded to log in noob chars that were strategically logged off in the same room and walk over the fire with them, resulting in many unjustified kills by the unsuspecting victm who would then become red skull, and we all know the punishment for being a red skull is dropping all your equipment upon dying, rendering amulet of loss useless, so you drop all your valuables that you thought were protected by amulet of loss because getting a red skull wasnt really in your plans in the first place. It was not his intention to kill anyone when he threw the firebomb, he thought it was needed for the quest or whatever, hopefully you understand now
There is no such thing... Let's be honest, you need to be dumb, aoe damage/field runes, there is literally no other quest where you need to do such thing... that should sounds a warning in your brain.

I used to hide small brown bags under trees. Toss random trash on top of it to make it disappear or just another empty bag.
