Just as Casey said, it means Southbound. I was hiking from Canada to Mexico through California, Oregon, and Washington. Thank you! Was worried the sound effect might be over the top but whatever! ✌️
@@RyanKodakBrown For the sake of other hikers, I hope so! Although, I was there back in 2019 and already there were small trees growing where the trail should be, so it hadn't looked like it had been maintained in years.
I fell off the trail about one mile from Milk Creek SoBo also. Unfortunately I broke my ankle in the process and had to be extracted by helicopter. The overgrown brush makes it impossible to see the tread of the trail.
@@RyanKodakBrown it's crazy to think if you were running a day earlier or later your paths might not have crossed and your life would be much different without her.
So pretty love story! You belong to each other 🥰
Great vid. What sandals were you wearing?
Thank you. Bedrocks
New here..... What does "SoBo" stand for? Stunning footage! Even the fart noise LOL
"SoBo" is an abbreviation for "South Bound" "NoBo" is North Bound"

@@caseyjones3319 Thanks so much!
I did this same exact thing at 7:56 going down to Milk Creek. Fortunately there's enough overgrowth to hold on to lol
Hahaha, yeah, I wonder if they've cleared that section?

Oh no! What year were you out there? I watched someone get airlifted out at Mica Lake in 2021
@@RyanKodakBrown This was July last year, 2023
Wasn't you then. Such a bummer though man! Did you make it back on trail?@@highdesertforester
@@RyanKodakBrown Not yet. During the time I was laid up I lost all the fitness I had spent months working on. Gonna hit it again this summer.
Heck yeah! Good luck out there! Say hi to Washington for me, I really miss it. @@highdesertforester
