Drops patterns are all reverse-engineered from paid-for patterns. They defend this by saying they don't charge for their patterns, so technically they're not stealing from the original designers, but they totally are.

I only use Ravelry to get patterns and sell patterns-I have a crochet blog and patterns I designed. I also favourite designs, but I don’t queue projects etc because I’m a fickle crocheter. I have so many WIPs and I crochet mostly based on mood or sometimes, sheer determination. It seems to work though I am trying to plan in a notebook at the moment.

A very useful video! I just scroll through my favourites every time I want to cast on a new project. I've never even used the queue... My spring project right now is the Rock it Tee by Tanis Fiber Arts.

I have just found Ravelry and other than buying some interesting patterns I haven't used it at all. I am just now planning on adding my stash to Ravelry. I got about half of it ready to load up with photos. And this video in particular has gotten my creative juices flowing on how I can use Ravelry more into the future. Thanks!!
