Ehh, actually Fragtrap is the sole exception to my overall loathing of Claptrap units due to VaultHunter.exe and how versatile it is with other skills on top of the action skill. I don’t know if I’d be able to tolerate him with just the AS, but with things like the disco ball of death and the pirate ship skill, Fragtrap actually becomes a badass.

I kinda wanted to see the struggle against the vault monster after zarpedon haha.
If you get pirate ship mode almost everything becomes trivial.
The only real problem I have with your videos is that they're not longer.
I like listening to these while doing stuff.

You can also tell that Zarpaedon killed herself by looking at the minimap, the red dot just flings itself off the map

The jump across the chasm in the moon buggy has killed me more times than literally anything else in the whole game.

the GasMask break in was funny because i started watching him before i even knew that people made challenge runs, and then i see this video, and see gaskmask make a cameo, and i find that genuinely hillarious

You can finish game after this boss and get second ending where the rest including bl2 never happens. The more you know

Just a lot of waiting, I remember forgetting how to activate those breathing stations (don't say a word, I hadn't slept for like 48 hours). So I just danced around focusing on dodging, calling out saint and wolf non stop for the heals and damage dealing since I was focused entirely on dodging
What I wanna see is the final boss fight, wolf never targeted their face for me. Just aimed anywhere on her hitbox and fired, I was having fun seeing how far I could go off of just his damage so I was completely under geared in terms of fire power for this fight. Ended up dying on the last face

What about the additional action skills you can spec into? Also you didn't finish the game? Rk-5 and the vault monster are still alive in that save
Theres a hidden ending where if u talk to moxxi 7 times before u kill zarp it ends the game right there as the "good" ending.

To be fair, for 2-3 frames you can se Tungsteena fly below you (or at least the particle effect), so she might have not even jumped
Clap traps action skill is based on the invernment at the time... So I'm told
I was also told that. I tried to manipulate it, but it didn't really help

The monologs was so funny
I finished the per sequel recently and I think I found an exploit on the Zarpadon fight. I died during the second phase and when I took the elevator back up I didn’t leave it. I just stood on the elevator platform and she never agro/attacked me. All I had to worry about was the enemies around me while I shot her from a distance. This was in PlayStation so I don’t know if it’s the same on other platforms.
But let's not ignore the fact that the very beginning of this challenge is rooted in such debauchery, such disgrace.... And god damn it fits claptrap to skim his XP off of simply letting his Team get downed so he can use them as shield as he revives them.
The run, no matter what happened later, was won from the start.

I would have personally allowed shooting with most action skills and melee in the beginning.

I probably would have used "Cheat Engine" to speed up the game when waiting for your action skill to recharge. It doesn't give any gameplay advantage (technically it would make it harder if you tried to do anything other than wait).
I started this challenge 4 days ago because I've never played FR4G-TP yet and Deadlift took nearly 2 hours. I only got Funzerker once. Why

Well, I did it and holy bubbles I hate myself. A few comments say Miq didn't do it cuz he ended on Zarpedon, but I think that's a win on common sense cuz RK5 is just Deadlift all over again except he flies and all his attacks are homing on your booty at all times. Also fuck the ophas for giving birth to both the Putti and my depression.

So Claptrap is a gimmick character?
No. He is the joke character. In the intro when he is introduced it says "Claptrap, as the mistake" afterwards if you pick him in the character select screen the game gives you 3 "are you sure" confirm screens thinking you picked him by accident. A gimmick requires consistency but claptrap is just random. The only consitant thing is that when you use his action skill you heal to full health. Which is kinda sad as 1 of his action packs gives him a healing bot that only heals him.. making it useless

Hold up if I remeber correctly, doesnt the skill you get depend on the situation and what your doing?
We tried to figure out how to manipulate it based on the situation, but we couldn't get consistent results

If u talk to moxxi 7 times at the bar before u fight zarpedon the game ends after u beat zarpedon and is considered the hidden "good" ending because u never go to the vault with jack
