You have got to be absolutely kidding 😂 After getting a glimpse at your reg number I thought no bloody way!!! I now own this very car, I thought it looked familiar when looking at it 😂
Thanks for an awesome video, Did your car have vibration on idle only or even while driving? Have the vibration caused any loss in power while driving?
@@kieferste thanks for your reply, I'm facing kind of the same issue, but it also affected the power of the engine, I had to ride the car back home for about 100 km and that was noticeable that the power of the engine reduced. Even I couldn't drive faster than 120 km/h. I'm wondering if that is because of the engine mounting? Any idea?
You may have a vacuum leak the engine mounts work on vacuum but it would only affect the power on take off once the revs are up it closes off the vacuum to the mounts I've made a video on the vacuum system hope that helps other than that you would need to scan the car see what codes are there
The vibration could be many things could be a misfire engine mounts drive shaft or propshaft if its an auto could be the torque converter or even a tyre I need to know when the vibration starts also the foot brake pulls a scissor to push the shoes in the rear discs they seize you would need to remove the rear discs to see I'm doing one at the weekend I'll make a vid on it
Make sure it's not a track rod end or lower ball joint jack the car up so wheel is off the floor move side to side up and down with your hands on the wheel should be no movement you'll know what I mean if you feel it also check drive shaft from underneath the car push it up and down should be no movement 😉

While driving it was accelerating most of the vibration was there turning left it would not vibrate but turning right it would

The rear one looks easy on this engine but I have a 3.2 6 cylinder and u can't even see the bottom nut for rear engine mount
It's not too bad on this engine but to be honest I haven't done the 3.2 so I can't help you my friend
Good work! Bet you saved a bit with Febi mounts over the Volvo ones?
Yeah I tried a corteco one 1st and it was rough the vibration was terrible so I took it back and swapped it
@@kieferste Corteco is what Volvo use genuine mounts
@@peterstayne3765are you sure about corteco? Wasnt IT lemforder?
@@Umrao1989 100% sure
Did you check out your front engine mount, its almost similar to the back one
Yes I checked and tested for leaks it looked like it had been replaced that's why I only replaced the rear
@@kieferste How did you test the rear engine mount
