I’m really excited to read Blood Over Bright Haven and In My Dreams, I Hold a Knife, but you’ve definitely given me a bunch more titles to add to my TBR. Definitely a genre reading mood I’ve been in for a lot of this year, so this video couldn’t have been more timely!
I’m new to dark academia books, but I just read If We Were Villains and The Secret History and I loved both of them. Thank you for the recommendations 🫶🏼
For your next News & Stuff video - Waterstones has their special edition copy of Dune Messiah and Children of Dune available for pre-order, but no cover revel yet. Comes out November 2nd!
Which model made of pixels tapped you back? her finger surfacing from waveless screens. Someone to gaze into your eyes at last, bewitching you with smirks too make-believe. Were Dante in our parasocial Hell; Manhattan billboards twenty times his size. Who wants to ring disparaged chapel bells? as models model nothing you should buy. Just wait for hands to cup thy weathered face, to gently lift you off of the asphalt, to lead your eyes into their destined gaze and not a woman from your search results. Your face is held and all those cuts are cured; the scratch of phonelight. Soulmates thwart the curse. -a sonnet that I wrote

That’s how dark academia characters are, they’re unreliable and unlikable. Maybe it’s not a sub genre for you.
@@giulimarra maybe i have read some i like... but it hard to find ones.
i want to recommend a book but it's not really a dark academia, Masters of Death by Olivie Blake
