Console install video is up!
not sure if you figured it out but those two pieces that were weird go up front, just under the dash on the left and right side (near the floor) and they cover the bolts up. thanks for the vid
The two small covers are needed, there for two holes in the lower front where the side plates meet the console.
Yep I address that in the installation video, good looking out!
I have been looking for a console install video? thanks for posting. I do have questions. I have a F150 with jump seat, will i need those brackets and dash side panel trim?
wil young the jump seat bracket is the same, just remove the seat. If your trim goes to the floor like mine you'll need the console molded trim pieces.
Also check out the actual installation video for more details
Loving the beasty boys music
Hey, thanks a lot for the videos! Did you ever figure out a solution for the inverter? Mine came with the 110v outlet as well.
I never had a factory inverter so never tackled it. I'm sure a factory or aftermarket one could be spliced in to work and retain the outlets.
Can you help me find the part number for the wire harness that's inside the console for all the plugs I saw it in this video but couldnt see the number
What did you end up doing about the inverter and did you end up getting all the electrical components to work?
Since my truck doesn't have the OE inverter I could always add one later on. As for the wiring I need to pull the harness again and go through it. I verified all the circuits related to the center console have the correct fuses and that there is voltage out of the floor plug but nothing goes through the harness. My guess is since the center shifter was deleted maybe there was a shared ground/reference/12v that is no longer terminated that is preventing the rest of the harness to get power. When I redo the harness I'll make sure to post an update.
I need to adapt the console in my car can you recommend someone to do that job
Do you know if a swap can be done on a 2017 stx 250? Has anything changed or got easier? Looking at a truck but it doesn’t have the jump seat or console just the cup holder on the floor. Thanks
The truck that this was performed on was a 2017 F250 STX. Watch the install video for additonal information. You may also check the F250 forums to see if they have located the F250 specific part numbers that will have the trail brake hole in the right location.
@@Projectfd Ok, thanks for info.
