Indeed, Copart out of Texas . I strongly recommend standing firm with them. Initially, they offered a 15% over what I had paid, which wasn’t within my expectations . Notably, they even threatened to disable the vehicle’s update due to their proprietary software. This is a minor inconvenience I told them lol . After three months, when I presented them with a video demonstrating I had it running , they promptly agreed to rectify the situation and pay my price. I made 15k profit after I billed them to get it running again. They told me they will dispose of it because they can’t have rebuilt vehicles on the road due to insurance. I could personally care less I made the money. 😂
@edwoll Your own words "within a few hundred miles". A Rivian van has a range of 160 miles. That's 80 miles out and 80 miles back. Not too many people camp always within an 80 mile circle.
@Handle_itwithclass Where I live in Iowa I had not even seen a public charger of any kind until this year. Good luck for anyone trying to drive an electric vehicle of any kind across many states. As far as a recreational vehicle goes; the charge stations at this point in history will dictate how far you go and where you go. Many state and federal parks here have zero electricity for even regular campers and no car chargers.
Sounds like you got lucky with the first one and are now trying to cash in on another. My guess is you paid more for the second one and are now trying to squeeze Amazon for another payout. Good luck! I bet Amazon says, 'Keep it.' Hopefully, you're not in too deep-might have been better to just cash in on the first one and moved on.
Well, Rivian is now selling those vans to more than just Amazon so parts will be available and it's uniqueness will remain. It's functionality will depend on whether Rivian digs itself out of the hole it's in...not likely.
Who cares this should be titled how to try to take advantage of Amazon so sill rivian vans aren't exclusive just there logos young people are different for sure
If You want to profit from the Amazon Rivian Van Rebuild UA-cam Series You must produce better Videos. The Idea of creating a series is Great. You turned a sure home run into a fouled out video. With you "No Energy, No Enthusiasm. I thought it was a prank video. " How to turn a Viral Winning Video into a Dud!! Your Delivery was a Dud Bud. lol
I bought one and sold it back to them for 15k profit from Texas last year 😂
Really? You had same situation? What in the world?

Turn it into an RV.
Useless as an RV due to the limited range of electric vehicles.
@tenlittleindians not at all useless, because who says you need to go cross country? It would be great for trips within a few hundred miles.

Would be cool to convert to an RV. Rivian states their vehicles will soon have access to tesla superchargers!

Funny thing is the prelude to your video is an Amazon ad😂
My question is if you do get to fix it - where could you get parts? I would assume they are specific to those Amazon vans.
Cover up the Amazon logos, and put something of your own there. Although I imagine it will be hard to get parts for it.
Amazon farked up.

Yea, so far the 2nd one is free so kinda cool
@@sergethecarhauler795 No doubt
Id love to do a solar build to live in this if youre looking to sell to a young engineer
Seems like similar issue with dominoes pizza cars
Yes exactly
I was reminded of the Dominos car too which is why I assume you tagged Samcrac in your video.

Agreed, thank you for watching!
Good luck getting any parts you need to rebuild it. I doubt Rivian will sell you parts for it directly.
How did you get it?

Wow that’s hilarious!

It was just a bit of fun, no big deal! It's just a van
