    Hello, Matt! You can also use the scotch tape at the top corner of the tint to separate the liner from the film. Much easier and faster and you can grap the tape instead of the film to avoid leaving the dirt from your finger.

    • @ChristopherChavez
      @ChristopherChavez Рік тому

      Wouldn’t the tape be attached to the liner that’s discarded? You’d still have to touch the adhesive side when transporting it, no?

      You can get that at any hardware store like home depot with a paint section, look for where drop cloths are and there should be rolls of that kinda plastic meant for masking, as for sticking, I'd use regular clear tape, anything with low adhesiveness that wont leave a residue will work

    • @punktalley
      @punktalley 3 роки тому

      00 steel wool will scratch the glass. 0000 steel wool would be better option if you are going too use steel wool. I would recommend 3m white scuff pads. No scratching. But use the method Matt posted bout cause you taking away the defroster lines is killing the life of them. Might not cause them to quit working right away but kill them in 6 months to a year. Some of these back glasses are expensive like $1500-2000. Better be careful or one screw up take your entire profits.
