Man, Ailee arguably has the best voice in Kpop, but she doesn't use it to the fullest. Her own songs aren't really that vocal-forcused and when she covers someone else's song, it suits her better. I just want her to release a song that will have everyone on the floor because she deserves to be on the top.
It's only because the agency she's in focus more on the theme she fits in depending on her current characteristics as well as other themes other agencies are using. I agree she needs to release a song like singing got better where she slays her notes like in this live performance.

When will your faves? actually, if she released kpop-oriented songs, it would further not be vocal-oriented. how many famous kpop songs are vocally-challenging as opposed to being that kind of cutesy bubblegum-pop kind of songs? this is why singing ability isnt the main requirement to be a kpop star. i do think her agency can give her better songs, but in a way, they let her choose her genre. she likes the rnb kind of songs and you can see Ailee all over her songs like Home and Insane. but her style really isnt the generic kpop idol. if she wasnt asian, she'd have a better chance making it big in the US.

pretty much with internationals fans she is fading. although her recent ost has garnered her more popularity recently in korea. i think its mainly ymcent her company fault for not better promoting her with different unique concepts, songs. most of her recent comebacks didn't do too well because of her title songs being no good or similar to her last one.

pretty much with internationals fans she is fading. although her recent ost has garnered her more popularity recently in korea. i think its mainly ymcent her company fault for not better promoting her with different unique concepts, songs. most of her recent comebacks didn't do too well because of her title songs being no good or similar to her last one.
kahale - the fans in Melbourne, Australia are crazy for her - at her concert in late March even Ailee was surprised how enthusiastic and vocal the crowd was for her - even more crowd reaction than in Korea!
