No. Popcorn isn't. The best weight loss contributor is fasting. When your body is no longer digesting incoming food in addition to what's in the body, it'll work better...more efficient in getting rid of that waste that sits idle in the body. Calories don't matter at all. Lmao. Y'all have been lsitening to mainstream toooo long. Lmao.

HAVE to disagree on the popcorn/nuts comparison… I love popcorn, but it’s EMPTY CALORIES. Nuts however are loaded with vitamins, protein etc… AND a handful of nuts will fill you up & give you some energy, whereas popcorn does absolutely NOTHING. You eat the popcorn and you’ll still be hungry, then you’ll reach for more food and end up consuming more fat and calories anyway. Stick with the nuts! 😊

I would pop a giant bowl of popcorn with my air popper and spritz it with a little bit of oil to get the white cheddar powder to stick and eat the whole thing throughout the day. I would also eat a handful of mixed nuts, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds as well. 🤣🤣 I also ate probably a 1:1 ratio of granola to a cup of Greek yogurt. I started carnivore a month ago so no more popcorn, nuts, seeds, granola and I’ve lost 15lbs in a month. Pretty sure it’s mostly from cutting out all those extra calories that added up throughout the day.

It’s a good recommendation for a beginner or someone struggling with healthy snaking habits. Like portion control, I agree with you on mixed nuts over popcorn, the real issue is the amount. His example of 100 grams is wild, but that’s super easy to hit if someone is just snaking on a jar of mixed nuts while they watch a movie. Real ones use a food scale though. 30-40 grams of mixed nuts everyday is a great snack option.

Abs are built in the gym, but revealed in the kitchen. Six pack = low body fat + hypertrophy of abdominal muscles. You need both, not one of the two. You need to train your abs hard in every training session and cut at the same time. Proper nutrition + smart training + supplements (if you've got the extra money) will get you there. Fix your diet first: cut out all junk / processed foods and start eating whole, nutrient-dense foods that support metabolic / gut health. Use progressive overload and focus on multi-joint exercises. Sit-ups, leg raises, and crunches are some of the best exercises for building the abs. If you are a lifter seriously interested in aesthetics / performance / strength, go study Old-School bodybuilding. Old-School bodybuilders were ingenious physique architects. They had a profound knowledge of the principles of proper nutrition, smart supplementation, exercise science, and muscle adaptability. Combining Old-School bodybuilding wisdom with modern, evidence-based science is the best, safest, most effective way to achieve a strong, sexy, healthy, and aesthetic physique. Vintage Physique by George Kelly is a nice read on the topic.

Mixed nuts are healthy calories, packed with nutrients and vitamins, low calories don't mean its healthy for you. Keep going with mix nuts. They get me through my day. I actually use it just as much as the berries , strawberries amd oatmeal. These are all healthy. Enjoy the healthy living, dont ever change.

    Now a real diet tip.
    STOP COUNTING CALORIES 😂😂😂😂😂
    1. I eat whatever I want, whenever I want and how much I want.
    2. I look at what I eat, when I eat and how much I eat.
3.Being hungry is not a sign of poverty.
4.We all know what healthy food is.
    5. We all know ho w mich a normal food portion looks like.
    Now let that sink in.
That’s all you need. Make sense out of those 5 points. Let it sink in and understand it’s just you that makes the decision in gaining or losing wait.
No diet will hold if you don’t internalize that. Make it a live style.
For those who understand, you are welcome.

  • @arty_pik401
    @arty_pik401 Місяць тому

    Nuts - nature food
Popcorn can have dangerous oils added
Dried fruits- high in sugar and spike insulin
Berries - packed with vitamins, lower sugar content
Granola - most likely has added sugars that spike blood sugar/ insulin
Oats (he has fast oats) - no added sugars but still will spike blood sugar
Better advice - most calories should come from good fats , they have almost no effect on blood sugar or protein - more sugar spike but much less than carbs .
And some low sugar vegetables for vitamins . The lower your blood sugar will stay the less likely you’ll gain any extra fat or get diabetes/heart disease.

You clearly haven't seen the research studies that have shown that we only access a percentage of the calories in nuts. It is individual but no one burns 100% of the calories. Most people obtain around one half or up to two-thirds of the energy in nuts. Plus, nuts are amazingly nutritious and a good source of minerals.

Low calorie if you're trying to lose, but if you're healthy and fit, and know your portions, you may need these calories to maintain your healthy weight. Those items he mentioned are not bad for you unless you go overboard. As you see, he did mention they are HEALTHY-they are. But if you're cutting calories, you may want a smaller serving.
