    I started applying your tms principles in April . I had gastrointestinal issues and suffered so much everyday for a long time . Now 5 months down the line I’m a lot better. I eat anything I want. My pain is down 70% . I don’t freak out when it comes up. I have more good days and my bad days are less painful by the day. Thank you Dan. God bless you

    I think it’s important to balance paying attention to feelings AND allowing symptoms and doing the thing anyway. I think feelings are important and why ignoring them could be why many people feel body symptoms in the first place. Ignore the feelings and they will become the Pain/Body.

    Reacting negatively to the symptoms makes it worse because it reinforces that mental habit. But reacting with breathing, focusing on calm, being mindful of the emotions but not grabbing onto it, affirmations, and other "good mental habits" gradually soothes the symptoms, and builds up deposits and interest of good emotions/feelings within the mental bank.

    Hi Dan
    Thank you so much for all your work I’ve been doing it almost 2 weeks now and I’ve seen periods of improvement i can’t deny! albeit brief but I’ve even been singing to myself! I realise I have a few years of work to try and undo.
    Although I am in extreme fatigue and pain (CFS) worse i’m really battling the fear of this condition.
    I find visualisation of me being fit and well again is difficult as I just see myself sick in a wheelchair & limitations disability forever which is my fear.
    Please may I ask can you speak to - I am constantly trying to work out my symptoms in relation to how I am, trying to work out, if it’s something I’ve done physically or is it an emotion or something Else, it’s a constant analysing of my symptoms in relation to the condition.
    I am thinking perhaps it’s not linear as in you can get symptoms regardless of there being any correlation and they may just pop up and there’s no help in trying to work it out instead just let it be? Stop the whys? Is that correct?
    I’d be grateful for your view on this.
    Thank you ❤️❤️

    you know, i was listening to something about that, about some sort of basic wage if AI takes over, and the video said that people get their meaning from what they do, even if it's a job they hate, and it just hit me that maybe trying to heal is like that too... being 'sick' and trying to 'heal' just might give people meaning, like they are living the hero's journey or something

      Well, I don't believe we need absolute safety in every aspect of being alive on this planet in the year 2021. But teaching our brains that we are safe feeling our emotions, thinking our thoughts and living in our bodies is where the solution lay. I still have tons of stress and there are universal dangers on this planet. But I don't have chronic pain.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  3 роки тому +2

      Doesn't have a function or purpose. It just means the brain is perceiving some kind of danger so pain turns on. Emotional, work stress, relationship, mental stress, physical movement fears, etc. We don't need to figure this out theoretically. It's all about correcting the brain when it perceives danger so it can make a different decision and turn off the pain.
