I hate how good this sounds... 😭😭 more tutorials like this please!
Haha thank you man!!!
Bro, you are always dropping gems for the R&B producing community! Thank you! Also, I hope you bring back the "Producing for" series in 2023. I loved those videos.
Man, you are sick with the playing dude.. I wish I knew 30% of what you teach.. I can make a beat and don't know what key it's in.. lol.. Excellent work again Stefan, this Guy is incredible...
Yo brother!! Ah thank you man! Haha, tbh sometimes I don't know what key I'm in myself, my theory is still playing catch up haha! Much love man!
Back!! With ANOTHER banger! As I’ve said a few times, UA-cam is better with content creators like you
Yo brother, thank you man, means a lot!
I‘m normally producing trap all the time but just diving into rnb more and more and will post some of it soon.
You‘re videos just gives me the right feeling for it. I‘m directly in the right mood when i watch your rnb videos before making a beat. Thanks man, helps a lot 🔥 you‘re just teaching us the heat
Wow you upgrade tools now. Keep it inspired me bruh 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
damn i love that song soooo much
Thanks Stefan.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Steph back with another one🔥🔥
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yoo welcome back Stefan! Time to learn 😈
Thank you bro!! 💪🏾
Yep. It’s a classical progression. One of my favorites. Also used in Don’t Cry by Kirk Franklin (technically Richard Smallwood…so…more classical. 😂)
Such a tune... but how do you not cry when listening to it?? lol Rebirth is one of my favourite albums of all time! I watch the DVD yearly!
@@stefanguy facts! Incredible song. I played it forever every year after it came out. 🙏🏾🥹
I would love a video on different types of turnarounds
Love the suggestion bro! Thank you!
ahh sounds amazing
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro!!
You're awesome...
Much love!! 🙏🏾
Beautiful Progression✨ngl it’s someone’s song but I’m Hearing Jazmine Sullivan on this💯🔥🔥🔥
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I might finish it/do a full production tutorial
Satin Looks NI expansion...watchu think?
You could do arrangement tips next 😅
Like full production vids with verse, chorus, bridge like I was doing before?
Could you cover “Can I” by Kehlani
Thanks for the suggestion bro!
I am an absolute novice and am here to learn, but that chord progression (to my ears) sounds very similar to Christopher Cross - Arthur's Theme.
Hey I'll check it out. But I wouldn't be surprised, this progression is used in A LOT in many diff genres.
I wish that you offer this in a sheet music version
Hey man, you have to be careful with transcribing because of copyright. Channels have had takedowns/lawsuits etc. - Would chord diagrams suffice? This is what I usually do but haven't for this. But could. Let me know. (Though I suppose if it's just the chord progression and nothing else, it should be fine.)
Chord diagrams are so important for me for actually learning what I’m playing
Hi Stefan, any chance you can do a video on trouble shooting S61mk2 with logic, my browser and plug in buttons have suddenly stopped working when using kontakt in logic pro x. It works fine with komplete kontrol mode. Any pointers? Thanks in advance.
Hey man always enjoy your videos, i forward them to my piano students who understand english. Have a listen to "Never too much", I'm sure it's been a while ;)
Have a great day
Went down a Chaka khan rabbit hole today and I'm not complaining
Yoo thank you brother! Never too much by Luther Vandross? And I recently did a Chaka Khan deep dive myself haha!
Isley brothers work to do probably my favourite find of the day
@@stefanguy yeee from the smoooooth man himself
Can you do something like "Giveon -scarred"?
Thanks for the suggestion!
All white keys are distracting. Otherwise you’re a Beast. Thanks
This is reminiscent of an era but not really adding up to most RNB heard today. I hear similar voicings but something is off with these voicings in comparison.
Hey, depends what R&B you're listening to. The song referenced is an R&B pop cross over - FLO - Cardboard Box. It's also a UK group.
@@stefanguy yes, this style reminds me of two eras combined. I'm getting primitive rnb vibes from like 70s combined with maybe early 2000s type of sound.
@@stefanguy the type of R&B sound that I think most people want to know about is more contemporary.
You should listen to "Bryson tiller - something tells me"
If you can make a video on how to replicate those chord voicings with that pumping LFO, thatd be incredible.
That particular melody has perplexed me since it came out.
Tell me why this sounds like a sad anime outro song lol 😂
would you gift me that keyboard? it looks amazing i like it
Haha it was gifted to me in fact but yeah she is a beaut!
@@stefanguy everything on that studio looks gorgeous Stefan, keep on doing what you're doing and achieving!
Much love brother! Same to you my bro!
