- Orcs and Uruks do not have enough protagonism in Lord of The Rings! Buddy Le cat shows you that they are indeed very strong and important :) Do you agree with Buddy? Let him know if you would like to see his opinion of different LOTR characters! :)
I can never not scream FIND THE HALFLINGS randomly at some point in the day.

FINDET DIE HALBLINGR
Five seconds old and he asserts dominance by choking out an orc.
I remember doing that to the doctor when I was born.... 😁
You can call Lurtz evil and all, but ya cant deny the dudes got a majestic mane of hair
He’s just doing his duty
and he wears it way better than ariane grande... in fact, i see his face whenever i look at her
True
But to be honest he's just doing his job and what his master tells him
and a great strong jawline
RIP Lurtz. You'll be forever remembered for your heroic deeds against the evil western alliance of men, elves, dwarves and H A L F L I N G S.
Hobbits = Short hairy footed annoying stoners!
Lurtz sucks!
RIP Comrade Lurtz
Díantre!!! Todavía existen orcos por aquí
I remember him back from 2006 where he lead Isengard army of 222 Uruks and 20 warg riders in Battle for Middle-Earth Evil campaign
1:11 Saruman to Lurtz: "Bring them to me alive, and UNSPOILED!"
Unknown Uruk at 2:43 "FUCK IT!"
I know right
omg LMFAO now I cannot get the image out of my head of that uruk shouting that while taking the swing XD
🤣🤣🤣
Made my day bro :D
"Best of Lurtz"= the actual entirety of scenes he was in
XD
Exactly
He was amazing in all of them!!
Buddy Le Cat and he is a prime example that a tertiary antagonist can do important things, he killed boromir, and captured Merry and Pippin, causing the fellowship to lose a third of their members.
as always in LOTR
shouldve been ''best of boromir'' with all lurtz scenes just to confuse us, then boromir get shot in chest
Despite all the memes made about him, Sean Bean portrayed Boromir very well.
He is also George RR Martins favorite character from the Trilogy, his realistic death is the reason he liked his character because he also writes characters with little to no plot armor who can die anytime.
@@arhamsaa Sean Bean is the greatest actor for dying scenes.
Yesir, agree 100 percent Boromir was a favorite for sure
Honestly it’s one of the reasons the meme was even made.
Memes are for stupid people.
3 funfacts about lurtz:
- he was the first uruk hai ever
- his actor also plays gothmog and the witchking of angmar
- when he throw his dagger, it was actually planed to kill boromir but peter jackson loved it how aragorn blocked it with his sword
Edit: he also played azogs son (bolg)
Also, the dagger he threw at Aragorn wasn't a stunt dagger but a real one (he was meant to be aiming it at a tree but cos of the prosthetic makeup couldn't see properly). Viggo Mortensen been the uber-cool dude that he is managed to sword-smack it out of the park.
Another fun fact in canon boromir is not killed by lurtz
Another fun fact in lurtz isn't even canon

I love how Aragorn's fighting Lurtz and Boromir is just in the background like "I'm falling over now...wait...yup...deeeeefinitely falling over."
That's was this dude's editing. The real movie doesn't show that.
@@PatrickPierceBateman It was a bit of editing xD We all wanted to know how was boromir doing during the fight! Not great though :'(

Every other character in every other movie ever: *gets shot once by arrow and instantly dies*
My boi Boromir: *Kills couple dozen orcs while being a live archery target*
I love how Boromir just stares at him as he is about to kill him. No begging, no pleading. He went out like a man.
Yea like a urukai would listen to beggings..
Or like a girl
Probably didnt have energy to stand up
Sean has had lotsa practice dying 😂
It was in the script. He didn't choose to die that way.
I wish this guy lived longer, I mean, he's the first and supposedly GREATEST of the Uruk Hai at the time, and he's relegated to such an early death. Sure he kills a major player, but come on, for the first Uruk Hai to die this soon is criminal. Long live Lurtz, my boy!
Most of the greatest warriors ever in the lord of the rings universe died untimely deaths.
@@fangiscool1 because battles are always won by not so greatest warriors... Tolkien knew that.
Ugluk was, is and will forever be the greatest Uruk-Hai
To be fair he didnt just die to any man he died to the king of gondor and a dunedain aragorn , he held his own against him probably the toughest fight aragorn had against any orc/uruk
He lives in my heart
I didn't like the animated orcs in the hobbit. This guy was way badder
Dan Flory THANK YOU!!
The hobbit felt like such an unnecessary CGI flex.
Cgi ruined the hobbit trilogy. The uruk hai in lord of the rings looked realistic and terrifying.
Hobbit orcs were definitely a downgrade on a technical lvl but I really liked all of the designs
Azog was hot af
@Naught Guile there were no uruk hai in the hobbit. Only orcs
It wasn't because of the CGI. It was because of the designs. The orcs in LOTR looked more scary and disgusting. However, the orcs in the Hobbit looked like generic monsters and there was nothing creative about their design. They didn't look as scary as the LOTR orcs. However Bolg and Azog both looked absolutely incredible despite being CGI. This proves that the designs were the issue, not the CGI
Best of Lurtz? You basically just tricked me into rewatching boromirs death!!!
he dies about 17 times in this video. Legends say that to this day, he is still dying.
It was the best of Lurtz but while the fight between Aragorn and Lurtz was happening, I thought we all wanted to know how was Boromir feeling. Not very good :'( I think
you made me cry again for boromir
Boromir dies in every movie
definately
The very first time I watched LOTR I was stunned and horrified by Boromir's death. But also admiring the way Boromir fought them to the end, even looking the orc straight in the face.
R.I.P. Lurtz. Taken too young and early from his homeboys.
I'm raising my firstborn like Saruman raised Lurtz

Jajajajajajajajjajajajaja
Fun Fact: The Uru-kai bow that Lurtz uses is 112 pounds of draw weight. They were made to be fired once or twice, then the strain was too great, and they broke. That much draw weight should've gone straight through Boromir.
You need to read more the most powerful bows used in real life war is over 200 lbs
Lurtz and the Uruk Hai running 400 miles like its the 400 metre.
without even breaking a sweat
I am runner, running a 4 mile at that pace is hard. They ran much farther than that
Bruh I was dying, it kept cutting back to Boromir xddd
Yea man, didnt you want to know how was Boromir feeling during the fight? I was worried xD
so was he
He was so talented. Always in for a good laugh, euh fight. He'll be missed but never forgotten. RIW Lurtz.
Lurtz is by far the coolest evil character ever imo. Such a badass. I love how the Uruks are running towards the river and dont look back for a second. Just a bunch of soldiers following their commander, who is known for cutting your head off if you tend to do something else then youve been told to.
In his last moments, Boromir showed us who he really was. In a way, he showed more courage than Lurtz ever did.
lurtz was only a child :( he was born like a month ago and was already going into battle
Lurtz is a coward by killing him with bow and arrows
@@neurion58 a good tactician, he was not a coward, a coward would have run after Aragorn charge.
@@stefdiazdiaz7067 yeah but it was different, Boromir was fighting against multiple uruks and defending Merry and Pippin s9 he was tired, but Lurtz decides to use bow and arrow, which is without honour, but he is an orc so he dont care
@@neurion58 he was also a soldier on a mission, risking failure by considering the most "honorable" way of combat may go against following orders and doing your job efficiently.
And considering how good of a fighter Boromir was, engaging him in single combat wasn't a wise option for a newborn with little combat experience.
However I understand your position and where it is coming from.
Lurtz is one of the best LOTR-Villains, because he is badass, psxchotic, aggressive, obstinately, sadistic, brutal, very violent and he is the Enboss of the first Movie!!!
And theese Moments says at all!
Güzel bir vidiyo
Yeah he was an absolute unit in the fellowship
Especially the amount of pain he took when fighting Aragorn.
Korean Cowboy42 Lurtz CANNOT and DOES NOT fell pain, according to the lore.
UGLUK that's him
Lurtz was such a cute baby
1:31 thats bgm of lurtz chase gives so chill🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Feeling lazy at work? Just play the Uruk Hai theme and imagine them running through the woods and you’ll get back that work ethic.
The courageous Uruk hai who sits in the back with a bow
What? Did you want him to go close quarters with the bow?
He was still very courageous :P If someone stabbed you in the belly, would you pushed the sword even more and growled? He is a hell of a brave Uruk for me ;)
Uruks are practically born to feel no fear, so that might have something to do with it.
Buddy Le Cat and he faced Aragorn one on one, Aragorn being the best warrior in middle earth other then the witch king
Do you have the lämps Bröther Aragon only bested him because of his swordsmanship. Seeing that Lurtz was just recently resurrected and didn’t have any prior experience with a sword he still held his own pretty well if you ask me. But in saying that, even if Lurtz was highly trained with a sword I doubt he would defeat Aragon. Since he’s considered to be the best swordsman in the third age (even outclassing Lord Elrond) it wouldn’t make a difference, the outcome would still be the same.
I love how the Actor also played the Witch King of Angmar, as well as Gothmog in the Return of the King, and also portrayed Bolg in the Desolation of Smaug (he could not do all shots in Battle for 5 Armies, a so it was portrayed with a different actor in that film.)
Had Aragorn not intervened, Lurtz would’ve put Boromir out of his misery with one final arrow. In some way, Lurtz may have respected how Boromir continued to fight despite being hit by three of his arrows and how Boromir didn’t plea for mercy or anything but stared Lurtz down as he readied his final arrow that would’ve been the final blow to Boromir.
what a nice and respectable orc, accomplished so many things once thought impossible for their kind. Literally
Love the fact they can hunt down the target by foot. Unlike Gundabad Orc. They ride wargs. Yeah...it's kinda cool but not as cool as Uruk hai chasing their prey like crazy.
lord of the rings is nine hours of things growling
Dragonball Z, too.
0:20 I can hear a tiger snarling
they dig the guy out of the mud and not only hes jacked but also understands what they say to him lol
I think boromir’s death was the only realistic deaths by arrow in the whole trilogy. Cuz after that a single arrow can kill a dude wearing an armor
If this takes place in modern days, the Arrows would have Explosive tips to double the damage.
The constant cutting back to Boromir was pretty funny lol
Greatest part of this masterpiece. Absolutely loved Lurtz, shame he died.
ปาลม❤
Same like with Darth Maul
How brave you must have to be to even think about fighting just after hearing the footsteps of these creatures.
Ive always hated how the Uruk-Hai fought so poorly and most of them died for only one man (Boromir). Its just unrealistic. These strong and savage creatures should dominate on the battlefield.
Boromir was no mere man. From a great Numenorean lineage he derived superhuman strength and endurance. He was physically stronger and heartier than even the powerful Aragorn, with a broader and heavier (but slightly shorter) build. From his dauntless courage, patriotism, love for friends/family/comrades and leonine pride he gained extreme ferocity and fury in combat. For decades he led his men against the forces of Sauron, tempering his skills. In the books he was felled by far more than 3 arrows, and under him lay the bodies of dozens of orcs. So it’s not that Orcs or Uruk-Hai were useless, just that Boromir was that badass. Respect Boromir.
They were supposed to be stronger then orks, but definetly not superior to a human warrior, at least in the books
“Viggo, don’t worry about me.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Well, if we flip over...”
“We’re not gonna flip over.”
“...if we flip over, just save yourself. I can’t swim.”
“WHAT?”
Lurtz was my favorite character, what a shame he died. At least he took one with him.
My guy was born tall, buffed asf, with long hair and an amazing voice. Life is not fair.
Yeah ! I'm disappointed that lurtz got to be on for 5 minutes in the movie . he deserves more
"The mightiest man may be slain by one arrow. But Boromir was pierced by many".
"Whom do you serve? SAURUMOOOON!" He almost got to taste MAN FLESH!
R34 or what? 😕
1:37 me on a walk through the woods
1:30 I absolutely love this scene of the Uruk Hais advance through the woodland.
Sean Bean doesn’t get enough credit for his roll as Boromir. Personally I think he did a wonderful job
Imagine if the Uruk-Hai fought as good as the ones in shadow of war 😳
i think this uruk hair still had a little elf in him. archery skills.
He looks so metal.
0:54 me and the boys getting ready for Prom
These uruks have so much more detail than azog. makes them scarier, not freakier, which i like
5:52 Has there ever been any other monstrous, psychotic villain like Lurtz who feels no pain and thinks only to kill?
This made me realize we need a "All 3 LOTR movies but every time someone swings his sword, Boromir falls to his knees" video. Someone get on that.
Bruh first scene would be 4 days long
Daniël Blom That’s why it’s needed
Please no.
As perfect as LOTR is, you cannot tell me that orc at 4:19 was trying to kill Boromir.
glad to see im not the only one. applauding for the orcs.
No lie, fight between Aragorn and Lurtz is probably the most epic duel in all Tolkien universe movies.
Just you wait until they bring The Silmarillion to the movies
I think Sean Bean should have won an Oscar for his role as Boromir. What a great and underrated actor. Viggo was also phenomenal in this film as well. Oh and Ian McKellen and Sean Astin. All put on Oscar worthy performances!
Fun fact: Lurtz and the witch king, two of the coolest villains in the trilogy were played by the same actor
All his scenes are his best of, a true great.
Keeping on fighting with 2 arrows stuck at ones chest.
Now that's soldiering!!
He's got a similar nickname to me he's Lurtz, i'm Lurch, cool, we could be related, we even look the same.
And I'm Lurtzi
FakNyO
Probably blood brothers
LOL
No-one gives fantasy creatures weight and physicality the way P Jackson did in these films. This scene seems so real as it's all physical effects and brilliant camera work. Shame he gave in to the convenience of CGI in the Hobbit, King Kong etc.
0:13 Feels like they recorded 2 character intros, but wanted them both regardless of continuity.
I suppose one was an introduction to the Uruk hai while another was for Lurtz himslef
@@kentuckybruce6816 One clip has him choking the creature. Then AFTER, he opens his arms, as if for the first time.

Christopher Lee was in British army in ww2 so already had experience of being on the Orc side against the White race.
Your attempts at humour are a little bit pathetic
Ethnicity was far more important then race back then. If Germany would have won WW2 everything would have been so much better for Europe but Britain would have become irrelevant, thats why Churchill did not accept Hitlers peace offer, but after WW2 he advocated against non-european immigration in Britain.
@@Stormvermin-bx1lh but at least we aren’t speaking German 😊 maybe Somalian
"FIND THE HALFLINGS" sounds like it's being shouted by a whole group of Uruk-Hai at once.

Sad, you left out his extended scenes where he sits in the corner away from crowds and cries for his former life in Lothlórien, when his emerald eyes fixed upon a fair maiden of nobility, always out of reach for a lowly artisan of exquisite tapestries.
Then he would have been one of the children of Eru, the elves, who were taken by Melkor/Morgoth and turn them into Orcs
3:00 I’ve always found that point of view so epic!!!
Not only does Lurtz have t/t points in range, he’s also dedicated to the cause

If the others fought like him, no one would stand a chance.
Just imagine if all uruks at helm deep was Lurtz
It would be destroyed quickly

the more i watch LOTR over the years the more i realize this movie / trilogy is the best movies ever no matter what movie you bring up
The Hobbit must have been devastating to Peter Jackson. The more and more I watch LOTR against The Hobbit the amount of CGI used in the latter is diabolical.I know PJ came in late to rescue The Hobbit but how good would The Hobbit of been if they’d have stayed true to LOTR?
Look at those gnashers they go through man flesh like butter haha
Legend has it Boromir is still stumbling and fumbling through the wood
Lurts passed along the memories to Ugluk and Lugdush, that's for Sure.
Lurtz was my hero
That's why you don't send a 3 week old to war.
God Saruman is the worst parent.
Poor fuckin' Boromir, you did him so dirty, roflmao. "... Aragorn? Are you winning...?"
So courageous he had to shoot his enemy with a bow from 10 meters instead of fighting him 1 on 1.
I and my brother have always called this guy 'Uruk Hai Captian' cause he looked the part
Boromir : "Come on guys end it quickly I'm tired already"
Aragorn : "This dude wont quit"
Lurtz : "Argargggghhhhh"
So sad that Lurtz died so early unlike the others chefs of his groups rip Lurtz I really liked him he was so much stronger than the others it would be interesting if Aragon only wounded him in battle and he follow his man’s and later killed by Gimli,Aragon and Legolas in a epic death battle after he try’s to ambush them by him self fighting like Boromir to his last breaths
Yes! Agree
it’s so satisfying to see lurtz kill that vile manbeast.
Excellent make up, I visited Weta workshop when I was in New Zealand. What a magical place.
Wouldn't it have been cool to have him survive and be the one that leads the rest of the uruk company? I would love to see more of him.
