@@moegerms Agreed, I honestly think they could replace 3-4 of the current songs in the set with some of their old stuff. I read on a forum that apparently Mike hates the beauty of suffering though. Which probably explains why I wasn't crazy about Eternal Blue. You know it's a bad sign when the band itself doesn't like your favorite songs lol.
@@adamantiumrage i thought it just had to do with the fact that the older material are 6 minutes long and as a support act you rather play 2 songs instead of 1 long one. not sure which forum you're referring to, it could be that i'm not up-to-date on things
@kapricun I believe I saw it on Reddit. That forum is a cesspool, but the coincidence of them basically erasing anything off the Mara Effect from their live catalog AND their original bassist leaving the band start adding up. I miss their progressive stuff. The fact Eternal Blue had practically no leads/ solos is really a damn shame. However I loved the EP that came out after it.
josh singing on jaded and Void is what we needed!!!! he was already good on yellowjacket but absolutely loving him as an addition here since his departure with AILD
breakdown in "Cellar Door" live without any headbanging in the band looks totally BADASS. totally love Courtney's style - coming on the stage like she has finished her shift in the office. but well - she got it. it TOTALLY FITS. and Josh vocals - WOW. love this band.
I'm here for metalcore, Prog Metal & Post Metal because there's so much great music coming out. We finally get appreciation for distorted vocals and crunchy riffs. When I saw *the fake* "Lorna Shore playing at a major awards ceremony", I was overcome with joy because we broke a glass ceiling. Even though it was a fake, it doesn't seem too far fetched for a prog Metal/metalcore outfit like Spiritbox to get on one of those stages soon.
26:12 - I'll be exactly like this dude in the crowd when I see Spiritbox live (hopefully, in a gig happening later this year with BMTH, Motionless In White and The Plot In You - at least, if I have money for the tickets lol)
@@HansArteagaRomero hope you have a chance of seeing them all live (more economic choice for you if Colombia gets a show, I know the struggle, fellow South American 😅 way closer to home as well). If you decide to watch here in Brazil, hope you have a safe trip and a chance to enjoy some touristic landscapes (also, a bit of feijoada and caipirinha doesn't hurt, as long as they're consumed in moderation).
Not only is the security guard with the polo on extremely attractive, he seems to be gazing at Courtney with equal parts curiosity, and terror at her vocals.
I can't speak for American crowds in general, but I flew to Vegas from Canada for this show and Sick New World festival and I was actually quite impressed with both crowds! Idk specifically what you're referring to about the crowd, but I find Canadian crowds way less tolerable than what I experienced this last week. My only "complaint" was that there were a few times where I questioned why people were just standing still rather than getting into it, but everyone has their own way of enjoying the show, and honestly if I was tall enough to see over anyone I'd probably stand there and stare in awe too 😂
0:21 Cellar Door
4:25 Jaded
8:26 Angel Eyes
11:36 The Void
15:15 Rule of Nines
18:41 Hurt You
22:28 Yellowjacket

Opening with Cellar Door is a banger choice.
Shame you didn’t see Rotoscope this set. Courtney and her little dancey dance
@@Rogueraven15 She said on Twitter a few weeks ago that they've dropped Rotoscope from the live set... at least until they headline again.
That is a shame. But understandable until like at least an hour set time
She really is mesmerizing
So glad that they're using Josh on harmonies/backing vocals, he has a great voice!
About time.
he nailed yellowjacket
They've been using him for it for a while now. Great addition to the band. Hope he lends some vocals to the next round of music.
Agreed. I really hope he gets utilized more on the next album with harmonies. I think this live version of The Void with him is awesome.
Just happy he found a home after all the AILD drama.
I hope they never stop playing Rule of Nines live.
I hope they never stop playing....
They gotta throw beauty of suffering and one of the Mara’s on the setlist

Okay but I need to know where Courtney gets her outfits because she looks perfect literally every single time 🔥
She's stunning ❤
Josh's vocals are so spot on on Yellowjacket. Absolute perfect fit for the band
Yeah, sounds very cool!
Loved hearing Josh's backing vocals on Jaded and The Void.
Man I couldn't fight back the tears during Jaded. That song is so beautiful and it eats me alive every damn time 🖤
Who album is a feels session for me, pretty much all of their stuff is😢❤
I really hope they play Ultraviolet live one day :) Thank you for the footage!
Definitely they will for their own headlining tour one day !

Courtney and Mike said in some impromtu live broadcasts around TFoF release that Josh sings in nearly every song on the EP, iirc
@@SlipsJDR Mike also sings on some tracks.
I dig that outfit and hairdo 😍

Josh harmonies is fvckng angelic 🔥 they got him for that reason, not just the bass!
angel eyes is so dope live wat da hellll
I'd love to see them. ❤ New fan here, wish I would have come across them sooner.
❤️❤️❤️
Can't wait to see them this summer
Thanks
That song Angel Eyes hits so hard god damn.
The security guards can't wait for Drake to come through 😄
Love how they are doing yellow jacket live with josh. Honestly i think i may like it better than the recorded version
seeing them at louder than life- this hypes me up so much! i hope they play rule of nines at ltl
First time they played LTL they opened with Rule of Nines and I almost shit myself
I'm only going Sunday for them
Angel Eyes is absolute perfection 💖
32:24 the most filthy mid range gutteral ive ever heard

Many Thanks for that exzellent recording

lov you queen
Seen Spirit Box with PapaRoach in Baltimore 4 or 5 back, Both killed it, but Seeing Spirit Box is something you have to see live!
I love the subtle nuance changes to the vocals Courtney did on Rule Of Nines. She does that with her live one-takes too.

I’m going to this concert, can’t wait
What was this recorded on? The quality is disgustingly good.
Thanks for the comment, it’s an iPhone 15 pro max
they sound so good live, my sister and her bf were here too lol i was jealous
I love really wish I was there *just* to see holy roller live!
I love the bait and switch for the finale (calling it a ballad, lol)
💥💥💥💥💥Boom 💥💥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Yeah🤟🤟🤟🤟
2:44 Fuck yesss Courtney! 🔥
I sure dig metalcore bands that kick ass live! If anyone here enjoys some underrated Metalcore Artists: Coldrain - thank me later :)
CUT DOWN THE ALTAR
sooooo killer
2:41 ❤
Dude was fanboying hard in front of you. Also Mike is like a wizard up there. Just an absolute machine!
You mean a guy enjoying probably one his favorite bands? Grow up fool
You can tell it's recorded on an iPhone because whenever you zoom in/out it skips to change cameras lol
The quality is awesome but when it does that it's very distracting, it's like the video is glitching.
💜💜💜
29:30 security guy looks over his shoulder in disbelief of what he just heard (ending of Circle with me)
Starting with Cellar Door is a Gauntlet
Josh ❤
cellar door sounds so weird live, i dont know, feels monotone as heck
Courtney is perfect
I saw her and (mike? Mark?) her now-hubby qhen they did IWABO play in or by a swimming pool. Oh, the age old Math Core lol
No belcarra. Sad
I don't think they've performed it live in nearly 2 years.
Courtney broke out the fits for these shows jesus christ

how not to fall in love with Courtney
Isn't she married to the guitarist? Y'all are weird man lol

Stop recording so close to the front, the best spot is in the middle for the best audio.
👌
Juro que eu tento, mas essa banda é bem chata.
No, this crowd is boring
Lol.🙄🙄
