This was my first time seeing Spirtbox! Holy hell, I have been sleeping on this band and so regret it. They were so amazing live at SNW and I am getting goosebumps just watching this again. I can't wait to see them again soon!
Spiritbox killing it as per usual. Of course Courtney is a killer vocalist, but that guitar tone of Mike is absolutely sick. Josh is a killer addition as a bassist and backing vocalist. Glad his talents are being utilised more fully now. He was absolutely sick in as I lay dying before, I am so happy he is getting to play in Spiritbox now. Amazing addition.
@@Totosliderz yeah I do wish they got a better drummer though. Someone less mechanical and someone who is more of a natural metal drummer. I don’t like the click robotic type of drums in a lot of modern metal and spiritbox is one of those examples. Get some proper double bass grooves and more of a groove metal type drummer - then Spiritbox would be invincible. Apart from the drums, they are a killer band.

Ive loved this band so much since i heard them in 2019. Her and Mike use to do live chats during lockdown and they are so humble and kind just real people. Courtney is such a dancer lol. Spiritbox have such brutal breakdowns in their songs, and in the middle she'll just be grooving and stomping around. Love that woman 🧡

They are a sick band. Courtney has one hell of a voice. And the rest of the band are awesome too, Josh is a killer bassist and backing vocalist, Mike is a sick guitarist with so much talent. And that drummer is good too, although his drum tone needs to be a bit more raw and organic in the mix, it somehow sounds too sampled and not human.
We did the same after power dropped on Sevendust before them. We waited and waited. Walked back to Circus Circus to cool off. We didn’t think they would fix it in time. One of the bands I really wanted to see live for the first time. 😭😭😭🤬🤬😭😭😭

So upset I missed this set! We waited and waited after power dropped during Sevendust. Wife and I were exhausted and went to Circus Circus to cool down. We didn’t think power would be restored in time for Spiritbox. 😢Needless to say I found out the next day they played their whole set. Bruuuuuh. 😭😭😭😭We fly all the way from NC and they were my #1 band to see at Sick New World. I hate myself for not sucking it up!!!!!!!!
That's a big ouch considering various circumstances that Sevendust. I'll be honest, I stayed long enough to see if Spiritbox would even play their set in time with the power restored and of course battling the hot weather too. At least I did what I can do record this full set for anyone that missed out. I hope in the you'll get to see Spiritbox live in NC!
I am so getting into Spiritbox! Courtney is really maturing in her vocals. Not only that she has the most beautiful profile I've ever seen on a woman! Just the face of a goddess. That's one really beautiful woman for sure!!
Not gonna lie. They should have been on main stages instead of a lot of bands ( I was there ) but so glad they weren’t so I could be closer. Most slept on band at the whole festival. Absolutely murdered this shit.
I am not a fan of Spirit Box. But very happy to see Courtney finally get some real spotlight. Only a certain group of people, ever heard of, I Wrestled a Bear Once. I am also glad to see heavier music with screamed vocals, make its way into the mainstream.

They are nothing alike. I'll pick spiritbox over jinjer but I like both. Spiritbox songs are just constructed better. They play much lower tunings and have that nu metal influence with prog. Jinjer is nothing like that. Even the scream techniques are different between them. What a stoopid take lol

Accolades of the easily impressed. This band has nowhere near the power of their recorded material in the 3 live performances I watched. Everybody in the studio nowadays produces recordings that sound good now with digital trickery. Too good to be reproduced live. It’s a dead giveaway when the studio tracks are released. The real test is, can the band sound as good or better live? Most can’t nowadays and it’s sad to watch.
Jinjer songs all sound the same to me, but they are still extremely talented. Spirit box they do a wonderful job making all their songs sound uniquely different
@franciscocolin2008 I'm curious about what makes you feel like a band is creating " different " sounding songs. Jinjer to me came up with a bunch of great songs years ago and have changed thier sound maybe not every song but anyway they are amazing and spirit box sucks
Please don't compare bands with a similar style as copycats. They simply like the style and create there take on it. To compare bands is just rude! Who's better Van Halen with Sammy or Dave? The question is stupid and misleading. They are both tremendously badass bands and to compare them is rude. Each band is there own and giving there take on life. Comparing them is offensive to both, so please stop.

What how many players have adapted Eddie's style to playing guitar and he's an Icon but they don't get criticized and nor should they. How many rockers adapted they're playing style after Jimi Hendrix? Does that make them unlisitinable? Not at all if you consider that SRV covered a few of his songs and they were fantastic! Don't compare bands by how they may have similarities to other bands, but rather how it gets your goad!

as someone who has recently seen them live, i can confirm they stepped up their live performance game.
Got to see her on the Allstars tour back in 2015 with IWABO and she was so good. She’s definitely gotten more comfortable on stage.
