What you said. It took me several listens to realize that the chorus (which happens 3 times) is never repeated in the same key. The first one is A flat, the second is in E flat, and the final chorus is in F. In most songs that have key changes, they’re obvious, in your face, and often gimmicky. In TMBTE, they’re so subtle that I felt them instantly but didn’t understand what I was hearing until some time later. Just brilliant.
@@oberxam Agree. I love complex music and that is exactly why this album really grabbed me. The sounds that are a music journey are just awesome. They area clearly getting better over time and that is exciting.

great fucking video, I was there. Can´t thank you enough for uploading. I wish I could go back and see Sleep Token for the first time again it was just amazing!
Same! Someone teleported their like 6ft tall friend in front of me from the back of the crowd and i was so pressed about it for a minute but it was still perfect.

Dude, you live in the US already. You don't need a visa or anything to go see them in another state. Go see them. If I would want to see them, I would have to apply for a Visa and spend 5 months of salary to travel just to see a band. Use the privileges that you have and enjoy life.

Thank you for this. Just happened to pop up on my feed. I'm so excited to see them in 2 days!!!! This video really shows off vessels vocals. Holy shit I think this is the best live I've seen yet! He sounds so heavenly and I just can NOT Fucking. Wait.

Seeing them live at this concert is the turning point where they turned into my favorite band. We watched them here primarily for her to experience one of her favorite bands, choosing to miss SOAD just to see Sleep token instead. I've never been happier to see a concert, now they are my comfort band and i listen to them damn near all day everyday
I had never heard of them. I went to SNW last year. If I had known of this amazing artistic operetta of a band, I would have put down the $700 to be there!
I went to SNW last year as well, and even though there were plenty of other bands at SNW this year that I liked, I only went this year because of Sleep Token. It was so worth it.
@@chelstar_ I preferred the overall line up of last year, but this year had a handful of bands I felt bad about missing: Baby Metal, Danny Elfman and Slowdive to name a few. I’m adding Sleep Token to the that list.
Vessel's voice struggling a bit by the end. Still killed that scream out though. I don't know how these guys do it, frankly. Traveling all over the world, doing shows every few days. It must be really tough on anyone to maintain that.
going from screaming his ass off in Vore immediately into the nuanced clean singing in Rain is insanely impressive, my voice needs at least a 10 min break after doing the screams for Vore when i sing the album in my car lol
I really wasnt that interested in this band, I thought they were tryin to be Slipknot…then I saw an interview with C.Taylor Praising them, so I checked them out and WOW! They are NOT Slipknot, they are somethin else entirely and its pretty fantastic, very un-imitatable.

Give some credit to their lighting crew! II is the leader in this trope. Props to jos agents, as well. The whole team knew what the job was, and absolutely murdered. This is the definition of rising to tthe occasion. I fell in love since the first time listening. II's drum solo in Summoning has barely wavered since its conception. Excellent clarity! I do have to say how disheartening it is to see sooooo many cameras instead of people just focusing on the experience. I like the fact that Tool tries their best to enforce that mantra. Thus ends the old(er) guy rant. Oh, and what an absolutely religious experience listening to II during the drum solo breakdown in The Summoning.
