About time I said thanks for all your videos Adam... You've literally gotten me into tinkering with all sorts of sim related things. For example with your information I was able to quickly make myself a new dash when the W12 dropped on iracing! I hope the channel is successful for you 👍
MATE THANK YOU for making the SimHub video series!!! I was able to learn a lot and created a MASSIVE (136MB) info dashboard for our race team on F1 23. Thank you so much!!
Hallo ich habe die Pro Lizenz aber trodem keine 60 Fps in der imhub Software. Das Bild ist verzerrt und friert ein haben sie einen Tipp. Aber in den Spielen mit Vorcore Display alles OK.
I have a dumb question. Can I use SimHub to display “static” images? I’m a VR racer and was thinking about just displaying my team logo or car pic on my wheels display.
Yes you can. In the dash editor on the upper right, you'll see an images tab. In there you can import an image to SimHub, then on the left hand menu select image
Can I use SimHub to control my leds for rpm's running a fanatec wheel on my VRS wheel base? Fanalabs is not compatible with McAfee and gets quarantined every time my PC boots up.
Hello, nice video helped me a lot! The only thing I did not get running are the steering/throttle/break inputs from the additional plugin section (I read the the readme file :-). Do you know how can I activate this in iRacing?
I just downloaded simhub for the track map, do I have to record each track? Or do the maps load? Do I have to load the map overlay and record the map every time? Minimizing the game on triple screen is glitchy.
hey man, talking about algoritm... I do not really like to ask questions, thats why I would search through the videos of someones channels, but despite of providing very good informations your thumbnails do not suggest anything specific. It's usually you and the SimHUB icon in it. If it would be at least you + simhub + LED in the thumbnail at least I would know that this topic would cover somewhat LEDs or you + Simhub + LED/LCD display, that would be a good start of what I would want to find, or I dont know, final result of what tutorial proposing, that would be the one more clickable and I would wait and watch it to check it how it's done. Currently you have so much the-same-thumbnail videos that they look like they describing (visually) the same topic, that I'm already feeling confused and somehow exhausted just at the start when I have to search through what I want to know. Thats just how I percive things here
HEY MAN great vids iv learnt a lot watching you... any chance you can make a vid of how to get the weather to show on dash for ACC so when its evolving it shows you went the next 10 minuets etc there's options in the property's but i cant get them to work many thanks..
You're in luck. I'm absoutly in love with LFM/ACC right now and and am working on some ACC stuff. Do you want current weather? Air temp, track temp, and whatever else I can find in the data?

I own a powerful gaming laptop and another larger monitor. Is there any way that SimHub can display telemetry data on my laptop while displaying my Assetto Corsa race on my larger monitor?
Is it possible just to use an animated GIF file? Been racking my brain around this software for a bit now, but I can't figure it out. I just want to display some PC stats on it and an animated GIF (or video?) image. Thanks in advance!
Should add in the title exactly what this vid is for overlays or people like myself wanting bass shakers may find themselves watching this for no reason
Hey Adam, I just purchased two led matrix devices. I wanted to set one up on each side of my wheel, to take advantage of spotter notifications (left side matrix shows left spotter, right side shows on the right side matrix). I am having trouble with Simhub connecting the second matrix. Do you have a tutorial on this or can you point me in the right direction? Thanks and love your content!
So you have two matrix devices that are controlled by seperate arduinos? The process is a little more complex and I think I have a profile I can share. I'll check tomorrow
If I get the free version and I use it to add a HUD to a game (like replacing Forza Horizon’s tachometer with one from Gran Turismo 3), is that only going to be 10 FPS?
It's a difficult topic but you are correct (sort of). There is no defined standard for what the human eye can see. 24-30fps seems to be accepted. I did a lot of research on critical flicker fusion in the past and while our eye can only see so fast, our brain is capable of processing a lot more information. That is why higher refresh rate monitors look smoother.
I can’t get my GSI to connect to simhub, it’s loaded the LED profile and when I click “enable display” the screen shows the Gomez QR code etc but still says not connected in simhub and when “enable display” isn’t ticked the screen is blank so it must be recognising it somewhat 🤷🏻♂️
Hello, i have a gsi formula wheel. When i want to use the USBD480 simhub says device not found.. I install the driver but its not working. On vocore the Dash work. Can you help me pls
Hi Adam, I'm trying to create an overlay that hides me the Setup screen of ACC when I go to change my setup (I'm a streamer) but I can't set it. Do you have a video or some advice to solve the problem? Thanks
Honestly, if you know what it is you want to see, just build it. This way you have the data points in the position you need them to be in. I'm happy to help if you have questions
@@AdamHeart Thanks, figured as much from my brief research. Don't really have the desire to learn the dashboard builder, would rather just buy something. :-)
It is possible, but not for all sims. Different Sims output different data points in the telemetry. iRacing and ACC will only tell you if the ABS is active or not. You'll want to search the available properties menu in SimHub with your sim of choice selected and see what's available.
Hey mate, long time follower and you have help my dash project for Iracing. i have multiply pages on my dash, one of which is the track map. i have 3 questions and i hope you can assist. 1. is it possible to add "turn Numbers" to the turns on the map 2. if a car on the track has stopped, can i make the dot on the map blink or larger or different colour just s i can see quickly that someone had hit a wall and stationary 3. is it possible for the map to self orient to fill the dash screen better cheers
You can't add turn numbers that I'm aware of. You can add an NCALC function to the opponent radius to increase the size if the opponent speed is zero. I'd have to play with it for a bit to get the code right though. I'm not sure I understand Q3 fully. If you have the map scaled so that it's larger than the display window, it should rotate to keep the players position on track in view.
RF2 - I've searched and I've tried, but I can't edit or create a dashboard that shows live all my laps done. i.e.: every time I leave pits and go to track I would like to have a board that shows all my practice lap times during that "run", so I can analyse it in real time, on track, instead of going to pits. Can someone help me? Thanks
There are two ways to do this that I know of. 1. Write a JavaScript function inside of Dash Studio to store all of your lap times to an array and then recall them. It's far more work than it's worth. 2. Check out the statistics menu in SimHub (I've got a video being posted Friday on this) as you can review all your session laps in real time (almost) with sector breakdowns.
SimHub had a leaderboard and track map dashboard included with it. I personally use the leaderboard dash in RomainRob's dash pack. Is there something specific you're looking for?
Wasn't a joke and was at the same time. While there is no agreed upon universal number of frames that the human eye can see per second, a refresh rate of 60hz is the cap for your eye. Our brains are capable of filling in the rest which is why we are able to tell the difference in higher refresh rate monitors in the 120/144hz+ range. Read up on Critical Flicker Fusion for a more detailed response than what I'm willing to type.
