  • Rick got out and explored a new area of Arizona with Andy, or as we like to call him, Dr. Rock Knocker. We hit the Morristown / Jackass Flats area for a chill ride. Along the way, we decided to compare the 2023 Segway Villain and the Can-Am X3, all while testing out Rock Knocker's Mud Guards for the Segway Villain. We chat about how these machines handle, their durability, and everything in between. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride with us. Love my 64" wide Villain... Added a Windshield and the OEM lower doors and I'll probably upgrade to 32" tires... I've run 40, 30 and 51 mile rides so far and the car is fast and it stays flat around the corners and on the berms... What a Hoot this thing is !!!

32" feel great on the Villain and is a good sweet spot for this vehicle. We've done some 70+ miles with friends running other makes/models and it's been able to keep up with everything they do... we're pretty stoked with it.

Great video and Andy makes a great product! I was one of the test mules for the rock knockers and I love them! I have 1500+ HARD miles on my 2023 72" villain and it takes wvery bit of the beatings and always comes out wanting more. I live in SE Arizona in the mountains and do everything from river wash runs to rock crawling and even the dunes on occasion. I absolutely love my machine and for the price its pretty impossible to beat

Rad to hear! Rick said he saw a few Segways on the trails this weekend. It's amazing to see a company newish to the industry making moves and making a decent product for the price.

I have a 2023 Segway villain 64-in paid only $16,400 for it. Have currently 400 miles and I have to admit are very hard miles both in rocks and dunes driving 100% throttle. So far no issues absolutely love it. With the savings of the initial buy I purchased 32-in ATV warriors tires, MSC lower doors, pwr tune tuner, pwr tune intake, RJWC exhaust and msc trail kit clutch kit.... Let me tell you this villain rips! it is badass in the trails. For a naturally aspirated vehicle I would put it up against anything out there in a market at this point. And I will say that it will out handle any naturally aspirated vehicle on a market. I'm actually so impressed with Villain, that when the supervillain comes out, I'm pondering about buying it and use it exclusively for dune usage. 235 horsepower and double the torque of the current pro are for $30,000 is a no-brainer! Actually if you take the horsepower and torque numbers of the Maverick R and the Segway supervillain divide by its weight the numbers are nearly identical and you all know how quick the Maverick R is.. So, it's up to you, You can buy mavicar R for $45,000 or a Segway super villain for 30,000 it's up to you..!

Rad! We've actually been trying to get some lower doors for both of our villains. Even fully stock, we were pinning it at the dunes in Coos Bay OR, and were really stoked on the ride and handling. it's always hard to do comparisons with so many different variables, but like you said, if price is a big factor for you, it's seriously a no-brainer. We do love our Pro R though, and we're hoping to get back into a can-am platform some time soon. We haven't built a Can-Am in a few years.

What’s the tire and wheel combo?

On the Segway Villain: Vision Manx2 beadlock wheels tinyurl.com/28uv49dp with Vision 32" Rock Poison tires tinyurl.com/2bvrcgvo. It's a great set up for slow speeds / rock crawling for the most part. MSA has a wheel that has lower offset that's nice for trail riding. tinyurl.com/2dkw8g3s

😳 no way. We haven't had any issues with ours and we've brought it through everything our vehicles have gone through - minor maintenance and belt change to prep it for one trip, that was it.
